"AI‑native, highly customizable CRM backend"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

You still get the same strong configuration and deep customization options, but now Salesforce Headless 360 also functions as a headless, API-first backend that agents and apps can call from anywhere. Agentforce and other AI tools can connect directly to your org and run business processes without relying on the standard Salesforce UI, while the Headless Experience Layer supports a consistent UX across Slack, Teams, mobile apps, and custom React front-ends. The MCP integration layer and large API ecosystem make external integrations much faster, and the platform still keeps Flows, Apex, and security intact across all surfaces. Overall, it delivers strong ROI through reduced development time and less IT dependency, even though onboarding and debugging in a decoupled setup can take some effort. What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

What I dislike is that pricing can still feel high, especially since advanced AI and data capabilities are often sold separately, so costs can add up quickly. The agent-first approach also adds complexity, because teams need to learn governance, observability, AI safety, and performance tuning in addition to the usual admin and development skills.
