What do you like best about Saileor?

What they made possible for my team. I have run a small company for a long time and I knew people leave for money. I did not really understand how much they stay for security. One of our engineers had his mother admitted to hospital last year. He did not have to ask me for help or borrow from anyone. The cover took care of it. He mentioned it on a team call and I could see what it meant to the rest of them.

Saileor set all of that up. I did not have to research plans or argue with an insurer from another country. They also do the ordinary things properly. Payroll on the same date every month, payslips people can actually read, and year end tax forms without me chasing anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Saileor?

The first month was heavier on admin than I expected. There is a lot of documentation to collect at the start, and because I am in Mauritius and the team is in India, some of the back and forth took a day longer than it needed to. It settled down after that, but I would have liked a clearer checklist on day one.

I would also like the benefits information to be easier for employees to find on their own. Questions about what the insurance covers still come to me or to Saileor, when a simple page in the portal would answer most of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Saileor:

Talk to them about benefits early, not at the end. Most people compare EOR providers on the monthly fee and treat insurance as a box to tick. For an Indian team the parent cover is the thing your people will actually care about, and it costs less than you would guess. Ask about it in the first conversation.

Be honest with them about your budget too. They will tell you what is normal for the role and the city instead of just agreeing with you. And if your whole team is in India, a specialist gives you more attention than a global platform will. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Saileor solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are based in Mauritius and our team sits in India. We did not want to open an Indian entity for a team this size, so Saileor is the legal employer for all of them. They do the contracts, the monthly payroll, the statutory compliance and the benefits. I get one invoice.

The part I did not expect to matter so much is the health insurance. The plan covers our people and their parents. In India that is not a small thing. Several of my team have parents who depend on them. Since that cover started, nobody has left us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
