I use Safari Portal to build beautiful itineraries for clients and present them to travel advisors and clients in an enhanced way. I like the look and feel, especially the new travel dashboard, and the flexibility and customization. The dashboard lets me put itinerary information, company information, prep documents, insurance, and guest forms together in one cohesive, very beautiful format. The new dashboard is much better than the clunky guest portals we used before, and the customization is strong and keeps getting enhanced. I’d like to convert lookbooks into itineraries. It’s clunky to put a lot of time and effort into creating a lookbook and then not be able to convert it, though I know that’s coming soon. I’d also like Safari Portal to work as a plugin with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude and with other technology like Zoho. I think I can add QuickBooks invoices, but I’d like to use and integrate our own financials instead of theirs. It would also be helpful to use Safari Portal with marketing and make it our main source of truth instead of our current CRM. I don’t love the idea of too many companies using the same tool because our itineraries could all look the same and make it harder to differentiate, so even more ways to customize the look and feel will be wonderful.
