Since my last review, Root has become more valuable for us because it now gives us stronger evidence on where the main impact hotspots are across our portfolio.
That is a big step forward. Instead of working mainly from assumptions, we now have clearer data-backed direction on where to focus our efforts and where interventions can have the most impact.
Root also helps us structure item-level LCA data in a consistent way, which supports both reporting and DPP preparation. The platform makes complex datasets more manageable and improves alignment between sustainability, product, and reporting teams.
Another positive development is that Root is working on a scenario builder. That is very relevant for us, because it creates the opportunity to assess potential changes upfront and better understand the likely impact before making decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A key improvement area for us would be more flexible output formats, so data can be translated more easily into specific external frameworks and market requirements. For example, support for outputs aligned with French Eco Score / environmental labeling use cases would be very valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
