Managing multi-day virtual summits is usually a recipe for operational chaos. RingCentral Events changed pretty much everything for us by replacing a messy tech stack with a seamless, all-in-one platform. It’s fast, smooth, and efficient, and the pricing structure is also pretty straightforward.
StreamYard’s private backstage lets us prep speakers without friction, and the intuitive venue layout—accessible via the magic link—reduced attendee tech-support emails to zero. The built-in AI tool saves days of work by instantly turning raw footage into bite-sized marketing clips. Finally, the HubSpot integration sends real-time engagement data directly to our sales team, saving us at least 10–15 hours of configuration time on every single event.
Even though all of this might sound a bit complex to set up and operate, in practice it’s been quite simple and easy to run. Customer support has also been very active and robust, based on what we’ve seen while using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest headache is the rigid customization limits in the expo booths and registration pages. Trying to match strict corporate branding guidelines often feels like fighting the system instead of working with it. The platform’s heavy reliance on stable bandwidth is another pain point: if a speaker or attendee has even a minor internet dip, the StreamYard backstage and video feeds can stutter or drop entirely, and you’re forced into a quick page refresh to recover.
Also, while the data sync with HubSpot is fantastic, the native post-event analytics dashboard feels clunky and overwhelming to filter through when you just want a quick, clean summary for sponsors. Lastly, because the feature set is so massive, the initial onboarding comes with a steep learning curve. Less tech-savvy team members can get intimidated by the complex backend settings before the event goes live, and it ends up feeling easy only if the user already has some technical understanding.
