What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

Had an attendee reach out before one of our virtual conferences asking if captions would be available since she's hard of hearing, and honestly I'd never had to think about that before. Turned out closed captions were just built in, she could hit the CC button in any session or on the main stage and follow along without needing us to arrange anything special on our end. She actually emailed after the event just to say she'd been able to follow the whole thing for the first time at one of our events, which honestly made my week more than any registration number did. Keyboard navigation also came up when someone else mentioned using a screen reader, and it apparently just worked without us configuring anything extra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

Native captions are English only from what I've seen, so for our one session with a French-speaking panelist, we had to lean on the paid caption translation add-on instead of it being included in our regular plan, which was an extra cost I hadn't planned for. What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting genuine, unprompted thank-you feedback from someone about accessibility made me realize how much we'd been overlooking before, we'd honestly never even asked ourselves if our events were usable for someone hard of hearing. Having it just work out of the box for English sessions meant one less thing to coordinate manually. The English-only limitation on native captions is real though, budgeted an unexpected add-on cost the one time we needed a non-English speaker properly captioned.
