What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

This was our first time actually charging for a virtual conference instead of everything being free, and I was nervous about the payment side messing up mid-launch. Setting up early bird, regular, and VIP ticket tiers was way more straightforward than I expected, connected our Stripe account once and just built out the pricing structure from there. What actually saved me though was the Magic Link thing, we had a batch of sponsors who needed free VIP access without going through the whole registration flow, uploaded the list and it just sent them a link straight in, no fumbling with promo codes for that group. What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

There's a cut taken out of every paid ticket on top of whatever Stripe already takes, which I sort of knew going in but the actual math surprised me a little once I saw the real numbers after our first sold-out tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RingCentral Events solving and how is that benefiting you?

Going from free events to actually charging money felt like a big leap, and having ticket tiers plus automated confirmation and reminder emails handle themselves meant I wasn't manually chasing down who paid for what. The commission stacking on top of Stripe fees is the real cost to budget around, ate into margins more than I initially accounted for. Still, for a first paid event, not having to build our own payment flow from scratch was worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
