What do you like best about Rigor?

Rigor gives us visibility into availability status of all of our web applications across all of our client environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rigor?

Recommendations to others considering Rigor:

I have minimal experience with other monitoring tools, but Rigor is easy to use and has all the features we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rigor solving and how is that benefiting you?

Rigor especially helps us in three (3) ways:

1) It provides very flexible notification configuration (including integration with other tools) to let the appropriate operations team know quickly when one of our web applications is unavailable. With a variety of polling locations, it also helps us identify if there is a geographic component to any network issues.

2) It provides very flexible monitor configuration so we can simulate several user steps. This allows Rigor to be an early detection system for a variety of "plumbing" issues that may occur within the integrated components of our system (e.g., network layers, authentication tier, web tier, application tier, database tier, etc.)

3) It provides a history of valuable availability metrics to allow us to provide our clients with uptime and SLA statistics to show we are meeting our obligations, as well as to correlate with data from other tools to identify patterns which aids in troubleshooting and improving reliability of our systems.
