## Respondent Reviews
  ### 1. Professional Platform for High-Quality Research Participation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeni J. | Software Dev , Ai Agents Builder, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent is a great platform for finding high-quality research participants and conducting user interviews with professionals across different industries. The UI is clean and beginner-friendly, making it easy to schedule sessions, manage studies, and track responses without much setup. Its integrations with calendar and communication tools help streamline the entire research workflow for teams and agencies. Pricing is slightly premium, but the quality of participants and time saved in recruitment make it worth the investment for serious research projects. It’s best suited for UX researchers, product teams, and marketers who need reliable B2B insights quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

One downside of Respondent is that recruiting participants for niche studies can sometimes take longer than expected. The platform is easy to use, but the applicant filtering process could offer more advanced customization and automation features. Pricing may also feel expensive for smaller teams or startups running frequent research sessions on a limited budget. Occasionally, study applications attract a high volume of responses, which can make participant selection more time-consuming. Despite these limitations, the platform still delivers strong value through its quality participant network and overall research workflow experience.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Respondent solves the challenge of finding qualified and reliable participants for user research and professional interviews. It helps streamline the recruitment process by bringing participant sourcing, scheduling, and communication into one easy-to-manage platform. The clean UI and organized workflow reduce the time spent coordinating studies and managing participant responses manually. Its targeting capabilities make it easier to connect with professionals from specific industries, improving the quality of research insights. This has helped improve research efficiency, speed up decision-making, and deliver more accurate feedback for product and marketing teams.

  ### 2. High-Quality Respondents, Fast Data Delivery, and Easy Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I love this platform for its high quality service that provides researchers or Market analyst with the right respondents that is required for the study. The best part of this platform is that the ability of this platform to weed out red flag respondents with its system and also allows another layer of verification and choice from the surveyor or researcher itself. It allows faster delivery of data by identifying the right target population. This platform is really good for respondents and the researcher as the researcher gets the right respondent and the respondent gets some incentive for sharing the experience allowing both parties to benefit. Other than this I felt that the user interface was easy to use and the onboarding was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I love most part of this platform but I have to admit that this platform may be a little expensive for the researcher due to its high incentive for each and every respondents. Other than this it may be frustrating for some respondents as the invites are kept in pending mode for a long time not knowing the actual status of the approval.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a highly efficient platform allowing the Researcher to connect with the right respondents. The real experience can be known form the respondents of this platform allowing the researcher or organization to take the highly accurate corrective measures with the result from the survey.

  ### 3. Reliable Platform for High-Quality User Research Opportunities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LOKESH G. | Engineer.SGB TCS-FS CORE BANKING,Production, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

What I like most about Respondent is the overall user experience and the quality of the research opportunities available. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, which makes applying for studies quick and efficient. I regularly use the filtering and notification features to find studies that match my background, and that saves me a lot of time compared to other survey platforms.

A major benefit is the transparency throughout the process. Study requirements, estimated time, and compensation are clearly stated upfront, so there are fewer surprises along the way. In my experience, the payment process has also been reliable and smooth, which helps build trust in the platform.

I also appreciate that Respondent connects users with legitimate companies and professional researchers rather than low-quality surveys. One unexpected benefit has been the chance to take part in interesting product and UX research discussions that feel more engaging and worthwhile than standard online surveys. Overall, the platform offers a strong balance of usability, performance, and earning potential.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

One thing I dislike about Respondent is that qualifying for studies can feel inconsistent at times. Even after spending time answering screening questions, there’s no guarantee you’ll be selected, which can make the process frustrating.

Another drawback is that some studies fill up very quickly, so opportunities can disappear before I’m able to apply. I’ve also noticed that response times from certain researchers vary, especially when it comes to follow-ups or getting status updates after applying.

Overall, the platform itself is generally smooth to use, but better transparency around application status would improve the experience. Increasing the number of available studies for different user profiles would also help. Additionally, reducing screening fatigue and offering more personalized matching could make the process more efficient for participants.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Respondent addresses the challenge of connecting qualified participants with legitimate market research and user testing opportunities in a structured, dependable way. Rather than searching across multiple websites to find trustworthy studies, the platform centralizes opportunities and makes it easier for me to discover projects that align with my experience and interests.

For me, this means saving time and gaining access to higher-quality research studies with better compensation than many traditional survey platforms. The detailed study descriptions, the screening process, and the secure payment system also add confidence and transparency throughout the entire experience.

  ### 4. Efficient Tool for High-Quality B2B Research Participants

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadim W. | FREELENCER, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I like the quality of the participants on Respondent. It's usually really hard to find specific professional personas like designers or project managers, but Respondent makes it easy to find people who actually know what they are talking about, taking the guesswork out of recruiting. The participants are actually verified, so I don't have to worry about professional service takers who aren't truly in the industry. The genuine subject matter experts provide the technical insights my design team needs. Respondent has become a core part of my design toolkit, significantly reducing the time it takes to get from a research plan to actual insights, allowing me to focus more on the design work itself. The platform handles the heavy lifting of recruiting, making my design workflow much more efficient. The initial setup was very straightforward, and the interface guided me through the necessary steps, allowing me to start focusing on my research projects almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Well, one thing that could be improved in the filtering system for screen questions is, sometimes I feel like I have to manually sift through a lot of candidates to find the exact match. Even with the filters, it would be great to have more transparency on the timeline, like when a participant is active or if they have recently completed similar studies.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Respondent to recruit high-quality participants for user research, saving time with automated processes and verifying genuine experts. It simplifies finding niche B2B feedback hard to source elsewhere and integrates seamlessly, enhancing my design workflow without technical challenges.

  ### 5. High Incentives, But Overall Experience Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratyush S. | Student in BSc Honors Biotechnology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

It provides high incentives. The UI is very simple. And there are various of task available each day.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The acceptance rate feels like it’s around 5%, and it’s the same for both me and my friend. I screen various projects as soon as they come out, but to my surprise none of them are accepted or rejected—it just stays blank.

I also can’t contact the support team because the support feature doesn’t seem to be working, or I simply can’t find it. When I followed the FAQ instructions, I still couldn’t find any contact option or a way to submit a ticket.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well Respondent is making researchers’ lives easier by connecting participants from the required field to come and join a specific study. They seem to be doing a good job overall, but they should re structure their Screening process. I don't want to take screeners and sit for months without any update.

  ### 6. Well-Designed with Great Payout, but Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert K. | Sales And Marketing Director, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I use Respondent to answer survey questions, and I enjoy that the questions are well laid out, making tasks much easier. Compared to other sites, Respondent pays a fair amount for the work done. I also find that there are quite a few tasks available to complete all the time, which is great. I appreciate that Respondent is very easily laid out, and if you know your topic, you can complete tasks quite simply. When I found Respondent, I realized it was better than the simple, low-paying sites I considered before, and I'm very happy with it. Setting up Respondent was fairly simple, apart from the time spent completing my profile. Overall, I’m so satisfied that I’ve already recommended Respondent to several people.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

Communication levels are reasonably average. You should be able to delete things from your account that you're no longer using. I have lingering items that date back months that I can't delete. It would be good to wipe them off and the app could be laid out and redesigned to maximize effect. It's reasonably average compared to others.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Respondent to complete survey tasks easily, gaining knowledge and insights. The tasks are straightforward, with fair pay compared to other sites, making it a valuable tool for me.

  ### 7. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kwena Patrick M. | IT Support Technician, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

Respondent makes it very easy to discover suitable projects thanks to its excellent filtering system. I also value how efficient and reliable the payment process is, as payments are made promptly once a project is completed. This creates a very positive overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

I find it challenging that projects are not always filtered by country, which makes it difficult to easily identify opportunities that I’m eligible for.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Respondent bridges the gap between companies and users by making it easy to participate in research. This benefits me by providing opportunities to earn while sharing my insights, and it also helps improve the quality of products and services I use.

  ### 8. Clean, Beginner-Friendly UI with Reliable B2B Insights and Time-Saving Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aparna M. | System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

The UI is clean and beginner-friendly, so it’s easy to schedule sessions, manage studies, and track responses without much setup. Integrations with calendar and communication tools also help streamline the overall research workflow, especially for teams and agencies. The pricing feels slightly premium, but the participant quality and the time saved on recruitment make it worth the investment for serious research projects. Overall, it’s best suited for UX researchers, product teams, and marketers who need reliable B2B insights quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

One thing I’ve noticed is that recruiting participants for studies can sometimes take longer than expected. The platform is a bit expensive, but I still think it’s worth it.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve struggled to find the right niche profiles for our user research, and Respondent completely removes that bottleneck. The biggest benefit for us is the automated screening, along with access to a high-quality pool of tech professionals.

  ### 9. Streamlined Recruitment, Perfect for Market Research

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minkowitz U. | Market Research Executive, Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I mainly use Respondent for its highly targeted participant matching system, perfect for our market research projects. I really love the flexible and detailed audience filtering options; we can narrow down candidates precisely by occupation, age range, local living area, spending habits, and even specific industry experience. This helps us lock in the exact group we need far more accurately than through casual channels. Another big plus is the stable and reliable quality of participants. Most people are clear about what market research interviews involve and take them seriously, sharing genuine personal views and experiences. I also find its built-in schedule management tools convenient, with unified time arrangement and automatic reminders, saving me plenty of daily working time. Besides these features, the operation process is straightforward, which is friendly for small local research teams like ours.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

First of all, the existing screening system is not detailed enough to meet our localized research needs. Most of the preset filtering conditions are universal basic options, lacking exclusive classification labels that fit German and European local markets. It cannot accurately distinguish subtle differences such as regional consumption concepts, local mainstream living habits, segmented industry job responsibilities, and different social income groups. When we launch in-depth local user surveys and industry insider interviews, even after preliminary matching, we still have to spend extra time doing secondary manual screening and background verification one by one, which increases our preliminary workload and slows down the overall project progress. Secondly, the platform’s internal message notification and communication functions are far too simplistic. It only supports sending fixed-format simple reminders and basic time notifications, with no permission for us to edit and send detailed customized project introductions, interview process guidelines, pre-research preparation requirements, and related supplementary explanations in batches. Whenever we need to inform participants of professional interview rules, research themes, and precautions in advance, we have to jump out of the platform and use other external communication software to deliver information separately. This disjointed working mode breaks the complete operating process and brings a lot of unnecessary operational trouble. In addition, the pricing and project settlement rules are not flexible enough for small local research teams. Some short-term small-scale interview projects have relatively fixed service fees, and there are not many customized budget plans suited for our short-cycle local surveys. It is not easy for us to adjust cooperation modes freely according to different project scales and research budgets.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Respondent to efficiently find qualified research participants, reducing manual screening time. Its precise filtering improves matching accuracy and ensures participant quality. The scheduling tools streamline organization and cut no-shows, enhancing workflow efficiency and delivering credible research results.

  ### 10. Efficient Participant Targeting, Costly for Small Studies

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Listi H. | Customer Insights Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Respondent?**

I like the participant targeting quality of Respondent. Unlike other platforms, Respondent actually finds people who match my criteria, like IT managers in mid-sized companies in Germany. The screening process is rigorous, and participants need to fill detailed profiles, which ensures they are who they say they are. I also appreciate how automated everything is. Once I set up my study, Respondent handles finding participants, sending reminders, collecting NDAs, and processing incentives. This automation saves me about 20 hours of work per study, allowing me to focus on analyzing insights. The support team is another highlight; they are responsive and solve issues quickly, like when participants face technical challenges or when I need to adjust incentive amounts.

**What do you dislike about Respondent?**

The cost is high for small studies. I understand that quality costs money. But for a small exploratory study where I only need five or six participants, the minimum incentive plus Respondent's fees can feel steep. I've skipped running some studies because I couldn't justify the cost to my manager. A lower-cost option for very small studies would be helpful. The participant pool in Germany is smaller than the US. Most of my participants are in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Respondent has a decent European presence, but it's not as deep as their US pool. For niche criteria — say, IT managers at manufacturing companies with 100 to 200 employees — I sometimes get only a handful of matches. I've had studies take two weeks to fill because the pool was thin. More European users would solve this.

**What problems is Respondent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Respondent to access unbiased research participants and automate recruiting, saving me 20 hours per study. It finds the right people outside our CRM for honest feedback, handles scheduling, NDAs, and payments, making research less biased and more efficient.
