What do you like best about Resource Guru?

If I had to choose the feature users seem to value most in Resource Guru, it would be its simple, visual scheduling and capacity planning. Resource Guru provides a clear view of who’s available, who’s overloaded, and where scheduling conflicts exist, which makes resource allocation much easier than trying to manage everything in spreadsheets.

Beyond that, other strengths people commonly appreciate include drag-and-drop scheduling that makes reallocating work quick and intuitive, conflict detection that helps prevent double-bookings and over-allocation, and clear visibility into team capacity and utilization so managers can plan workloads more effectively. What do you dislike about Resource Guru?

What I dislike most about Resource Guru is that the reporting and analytics capabilities can feel quite limited when compared to more advanced resource management tools. While the scheduling functionality is excellent and easy to use, extracting deeper insights into utilisation, forecasting, and long-term planning can be challenging. I also find that some integrations and customisation options are not as flexible as I'd like, particularly when trying to align Resource Guru with other business systems and workflows. What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?

Resource Guru is solving the challenge of managing team availability, workloads, and project scheduling in one place. It gives me a clear view of who is available, who is already committed to work, and where there may be potential resource conflicts. This makes planning work much more efficient and reduces the need for spreadsheets, emails, and manual coordination.

The biggest benefit for me is improved visibility and better resource allocation. I can quickly see team capacity, avoid overbooking people, and make scheduling adjustments when priorities change. This helps projects stay on track, improves team utilisation, and saves time that would otherwise be spent resolving scheduling issues.
