Remote made what could otherwise be a fairly complicated process feel straightforward. The product is thoughtfully designed, onboarding was easy, and the platform gave us one central place to handle the administrative side of employing people across different countries. Payroll and the recurring operational pieces were dependable, which is ultimately what mattered most to us.
Pricing felt pretty standard for the industry, and the zero deposit cycle was outstanding. Unlike some competitors that wanted to hold 3x monthly salary in their accounts as a deposit PER employee, Remote simply ran a forward-charged payroll run each month. That was a huge advantage for us.
We also had good experiences with their support team whenever something needed attention. There were occasional situations where an issue took a bit of back-and-forth to resolve, but overall we felt well supported and were able to get everything sorted out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, there’s not much to dislike. A few of the administrative workflows can feel a bit rigid, especially when you’re dealing with country-specific requirements or changes that require support to get involved. Response times can also vary depending on the issue and how it’s handled. Still, these have been relatively minor inconveniences compared with the overall experience.
