What do you like best about Remote?

The platform separates personal access from team access very clearly, which is helpful if you have a manager or team lead role. From the personal access area, you get a clear overview of your payslips, days off, and expenses. Submitting expenses is also very easy: the system reads your invoice and fills out the fields for you.

From the People Manager perspective, it’s just as straightforward to view everyone’s expenses, days off, and requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

The AI chatbot for support questions is okay. There’s a large knowledge base where you can search for answers, but there are so many nuances and differences from country to country that sometimes I still prefer to talk to a human. However, when I do reach out to a person, the message often gets redirected and I end up waiting a couple of days for a response, and even then it can still be missing some information.

For onboarding and offboarding employees, there doesn’t seem to be a feature for that (at least not that I know of). Because of that, I have to contact support again.

On the expenses side, there’s no clear information on which expense was reimbursed in full versus taxed on the payslip. It would be helpful to have an expense report so I can confirm everything was paid out correctly, but right now it still requires a manual check.

Some of my team members also had issues with Microsoft SSO; I’m not sure where the integration problem was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
