What I like best is how Redzone's Compliance Module has completely modernized our operations as a USDA facility. By eliminating the physical paper chase, we actually saw a 20% OEE uplift during our compliance rollout. I'd estimate we are probably 80% more efficient with our paperwork now; even though it's hard to put an exact number on it, the feeling of having everything instantly accessible is night and day. Another massive win for us is the photo capability. We historically had issues with our conveyors. Now, our quality team takes pictures of the conveyors every hour within the app. This allows us to definitively prove the conveyors are still functioning without wear, or it lets us immediately start planning maintenance at the very first sign of an issue. It’s completely shifted us from reactive to proactive. I also highly value the Redzone Chat feature. It has resolved past communication issues between our quality and production teams. Now, techs and operators coordinate directly on the floor, and because the chat is visible, leadership can step in immediately to escalate quality issues or conduct much more responsive investigations. Finally, the implementation support was fantastic. Even though we were previous Redzone users, deploying it at this massive of a scope was overwhelming. Our Redzone coach helped bridge our knowledge gaps. They challenged us where we needed to improve, motivated the staff, and deeply engaged with the floor team—even successfully navigating language barriers to ensure everyone bought into the new process. While the system is powerful, mapping our exact processes into the software has presented a learning curve. For instance, our Critical Control Points require checks at the top of the hour, plus or minus 15 minutes. Redzone doesn’t perfectly mirror this specific trigger timing out of the box, which occasionally led to missed checks early on and a temporary lack of confidence in pulling the digital paper. Balancing trigger timings for quality checks can cause issues when there isn't an obvious out-of-the-box solution, but it's a structural challenge we are actively working to adapt.
