"Champion AI Gives Operations Managers More Time on the Shop Floor"

What do you like best about Redzone?

The biggest impact for us has been the improvement in OEE. In just five months, we moved from 59.2% to 72.7% OEE, which was a huge achievement for our site.

We started with the Productivity module, and one of the first things we noticed was how it brought our frontline operators into the conversation. Before Redzone, operators didn’t always feel like they had a voice or a clear way to share their ideas. It was also hard to objectively tell whether we’d had a good shift or a bad one. Redzone gave everyone visibility into performance, along with a practical way to respond and improve.

Two features have made an especially big difference for us: Huddles and the Fishbone problem-solving tool. Huddles help us review key shift metrics throughout the day and make adjustments before it’s too late. Rather than waiting until the end of the shift to realize we missed our targets, we can spot issues early and course-correct in real time.

The Fishbone tool has completely changed how we approach problem-solving. For example, we knew our PET line was struggling, with more than 2.5 hours of downtime per day, but we needed to understand why. Using Redzone data, we organized a cross-functional problem-solving event and identified two main root causes, each with a clear action plan.

I’ll admit we were a little skeptical at first, and our Redzone Coach had to push us to really trust the data and use the tool consistently. But once we saw the results firsthand, we were convinced. What do you dislike about Redzone?

I’m still in the process of deploying Redzone, so I haven’t run into any yellow flags yet. Having the coach on-site has been a big help, especially while we’re getting everything set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an Operations Manager, one of my biggest challenges used to be getting ready for our daily meetings. I had to dig through line logs and Huddle playcalls across multiple lines just to understand the main issues, set priorities, and pull everything into a clear summary for the meeting. It was time-consuming and often pulled me away from the shop floor.

Champion AI has been a real game-changer for me. With the Game-Ready prompt, I can quickly get a clear summary of what needs attention, recommended discussion points for our daily meeting, and even suggested action items. It saves me around 40–60 minutes every day, and I can spend that time where it matters most: on the shop floor, working directly with the team.

Another thing I really appreciate is how fast Champion AI can spot recurring downtime patterns, whether that’s across an entire production area or on a specific line. It doesn’t just point out the problems; it also helps us explore potential root causes we might otherwise miss.

We’ve started asking our teams to use this analysis during their Huddles, and it’s made those discussions more focused and data-driven. Instead of only reviewing what went wrong, we’re getting better at recognizing patterns, asking the right questions, and deciding what to do next.
