In 16 months of usage, settlements have never been delayed, webhooks are reliable, and the success rate consistently stays above 93%. On pricing, people say razorpay is expensive at 2%, but this ignores that competitors charge ₹4,999 to ₹7,000 AMC annually. Razorpay is actually the cheapest option when you do a proper TCO calculation including fixed costs and integration was completed in less than one day by our developer. **What do you dislike about Razorpay?** Onboarding documentation could be a bit clearer for first-time users. It took a little back and forth to get started, but later I noticed they also have AI Assisted onboarding, which I had missed initially. Would suggest new merchants check that first. **What problems is Razorpay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Core problem was reliable recurring billing for monthly subscriptions. Razorpay’s subscription product handles mandate management, retry logic, and dunning automatically. Running at 93-94% consistently over 10 months. Tested instamojo for 2 months before this, success rate was around 80-82%. On my ₹3L monthly volume that 12% difference was ₹36,000 in failed transactions every month. Whatever i was saving in lower TDR fees was getting wiped out 20 times over. Came back to razorpay and revenue stabilised immediately. Integration documentation is also excellent, best i have seen among indian payment gateways. **What do you dislike about Razorpay?** Dashboard has become very cluttered. They keep adding new products and features but the core interface is suffering. Finding basic settings takes more time then it should for experienced users also. Cashfree looked cheapest at 1.6% but $4,999 AMC made yearly cost higher then razorpay at my volume. Instamojo had zero AMC but 80% success rate was loosing me 340,000 monthly in failed transactions. Razorpay at 2% with 93% success rate and zero AMC gave highest net money in bank every month. That is the real definition of cheapest payment gateway. Documentation and integration quality is also best in class. **What do you dislike about Razorpay?** Support chat could be faster, sometimes takes a day to get proper response. Minor issue overall. **What problems is Razorpay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Was loosing significant revenue to payment failures on previous PG. Razorpay solved this completely. Zero AMC, zero setup means at ₹1-2L/month volume it is actually cheapest payment gateway in india. Competitors showing 1.6-1.75% all have ₹4,999 annual maintenance charge hidden in contract. Once you add that, Razorpay wins on total cost. 93%+ success rate for me means more money reaching bank account every month.
