I like that I can put together quick designs and get a result without having to spend a lot of time on it, as you do with other competitors' software. What's more, if I want to refine it, I have all the tools at hand that some competitors simply don't offer. I like that the product is under continuous development, that they listen to our suggestions and respond incredibly quickly to our queries. They have the best customer service and they help me out whenever I get stuck on something. They've also recently added an AI model, which makes it even more convenient and user-friendly. Of course, it isn't perfect yet, but it's heading in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like less is the bankability. The energy yield from RatedPower is still not accepted by most lenders, so for the financing we have to do the model again in PVsyst, which takes time on every project. I understand the industry is conservative and this is not only on RatedPower. For now it is more a design tool for us than a yield tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hi Mathias, thank you for the thoughtful review!
We’re glad RatedPower helps you move quickly from initial designs to detailed layouts, cabling, substations, and plans you can share with stakeholders. It’s wonderful to hear that our team has been responsive when you’ve needed help. Just like you, we're excited for the release of Power Analyst (AI-tool) which we hope revolutionizes and streamlines the way you design your projects.
We understand that repeating the energy-yield model in PVsyst adds time to every project. PVsyst remains the bankable option for your financing workflow, and we’re working toward making RatedPower’s energy-yield results bankable too. We appreciate you sharing both what’s working well and where we still need to improve.
