What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

I like that they are constantly trying to make it better and user-friendly. Generally I can find what I am looking for and they are always adding new useful features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

Sometimes it is difficult to find what I'm looking for or do what I need to do. Today I wanted to add a payment button to my website but that proved to be a difficult, overwhelming task that required a technology developer.

I wanted to add that since the emailed invoices come from a Quickbooks email address, a lot of my clients' invoices go to Spam. I called (not to mention I had to wait 20 minutes to speak with someone) and they told me there is no way to make it come from my email address and they offered no suggestions when I asked. I have over 100 clients and I can't ask them all to check their spam boxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Online:

Overall, it's a good software. They are constantly changing it to make it better, and generally are easy to get help from. I'd definitely recommend it for small business. I've heard the downloadable software is better than the online subscription, but I haven't tried it yet. If you use the invoice feature a lot though, you might look into other software that won't send your invoices to spam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QuickBooks Online solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am keeping track of all my clients' balances on their accounts, easily calculating totals for all the services we offer, and I'm able to print very nice-looking checks for my contractors each month. I've just started playing around with the accounting part and hope to use it to keep track of business expenses for tax purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
