I use Quatrix daily for secure managed file transfers and controlled client data sharing. I appreciate its fine-grained access management paired with solid GDPR-aligned logging. It lets me quickly lock down individual shared folders and grant view-only access to stakeholders, with every upload, download, and edit clearly logged. The automated file-retention settings are also very beneficial, allowing me to set expiry dates for shared files, thus preventing lingering open-share security risks. The audit-log exports are my main pain point with Quatrix. When I pull activity trails, the exported logs lack properly formatted IP-address metadata and clear distinction between guest-user and internal-staff actions. I end up manually sorting and enriching these log files for audits, and that eats into my project time. There's no pre-built export template tuned for German GDPR audit requirements. Additionally, Quatrix lacks native API hooks to feed transfer logs directly into our monitoring stack, making the process repetitive and prone to human error. Configuring Quatrix to fit GDPR requirements needed quite a bit of fine-tuning, especially for audit log exports, as some default settings weren’t aligned with local compliance standards.
