What do you like best about QRCodeKIT?

Our QR codes have made it easier for guests to access important information and services quickly by simply scanning with their mobile devices. They provide instant access to restaurant menus, resort information, promotions, activity schedules, and contact details, creating a more convenient and seamless guest experience. Additionally, the QR codes help reduce the use of printed materials, support our sustainability initiatives, and allow us to update information instantly without the need for reprinting. What do you dislike about QRCodeKIT?

The QR code system has been very helpful overall, but there are opportunities for improvement. Some guests are not familiar with using QR codes or may experience difficulty scanning them due to poor lighting, damaged prints, or weak internet connectivity. It would also be beneficial to ensure that all linked pages are regularly updated and optimized for mobile devices to provide a smooth user experience. Adding clear instructions or a brief description beside each QR code would also help guests understand what information or service they can expect after scanning. What problems is QRCodeKIT solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use QR codes throughout the resort to provide guests with quick and convenient access to information without relying on printed materials. They are used for digital restaurant menus, resort directories, promotions, event schedules, and contact information. This has helped streamline guest communication, reduce printing costs, and support our sustainability initiatives. Guests can access updated information instantly by scanning the QR code with their smartphones, resulting in a more efficient and seamless experience while reducing the need for staff to answer routine inquiries. A resort has a lot of moving parts (menus, schedules, promotions, contact details) and hearing that QR codes have pulled all of that into one seamless guest experience, while cutting print and supporting your sustainability goals, is exactly the kind of impact we hope for.

Your points on the guest side are well taken. A lot of what you describe (clear instructions or a short label beside each code, so guests know what to expect) is good practice we'd echo, and keeping linked pages current and mobile-optimized is easy to do from the dashboard whenever things change. On scanning in poor lighting or on damaged prints, higher-contrast designs and a bit of size and placement care go a long way, and we're always working to make codes more forgiving.
