"Effortless Lead Segmentation but Needs Improved Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Qalcwise?

I really appreciate Qalcwise's ability to build custom, rule‑based data workflows without needing any coding experience. As an SDR at Münchener Software GmbH, our 51‑200‑person Munich‑based B2B software firm selling project management tools to construction and engineering firms across Germany and Austria, this feature is extremely helpful because previously, I had to rely on basic Google Sheets which lagged badly when handling large datasets and could easily lead to costly human errors. I still remember our big quarterly prospect push last year. We pulled a huge batch of enriched construction‑industry leads from Clay. Working in Google Sheets, I tried filtering out admin staff and keeping only decision‑makers, but the sheet kept freezing. I accidentally deleted dozens of valid project manager contacts, and I didn’t catch that mistake until I was getting ready for outreach. I had to go back to Clay and re‑enrich all those lost contacts, which burned several hours and set back our outbound campaign. Now with Qalcwise, I can set up reusable filtering rules, which means I don't have to rebuild them from scratch for each new campaign. Every time I get a fresh CSV export from Clay, I run my pre‑built workflows to filter out non‑decision‑maker roles, flag incomplete contact details and split leads by company size and industry. This saves me a lot of time and reduces the risk of errors when managing huge volumes of DACH‑region leads. It handles large datasets smoothly and lets me strip out low‑priority roles, segment prospects by company size and industry, and flag incomplete records in bulk, allowing me to refine raw outputs into targeted contact lists efficiently. It still requires manual CSV imports, and I always need to spot‑check for garbled German special characters like ä, ö, ü before exporting. Our cleaned lead files get stored on Nextcloud, we sync campaign status over Microsoft Teams, and push final leads into Zendesk Sell for cold outreach via Brevo Marketing Platform. Even with those small workflow gaps, these no‑code automated workflows keep me from repeating those expensive spreadsheet mistakes on our busy outbound cycles. What do you dislike about Qalcwise?

To start with, there's no out‑of‑the‑box native integration with Clay, which is our primary lead‑enrichment tool. I have to export enriched lead batches out of Clay as CSV files and manually import them into Qalcwise. This manual process recently caused real confusion during one of our high‑volume prospecting cycles. A junior SDR on my team assumed data would auto‑sync across platforms and only imported a partial snippet of our full lead dataset. He spent two days preparing outreach sequences based on that incomplete information, completely unaware he was missing most of our target construction‑firm contacts. By the time I noticed the issue, we had to pause our prep work and re‑import the full dataset, which pushed our campaign launch back by two days. I also keep running into consistent encoding bugs with German special characters like ä, ö, ü. Company names and city locations often become garbled after CSV import. On one occasion I exported a cleaned lead list without thorough spot‑checking and imported it straight into Zendesk Sell. Multiple prospect company names ended up corrupted inside our CRM. I had to spend more than an hour going line‑by‑line fixing each polluted entry. Some of the advanced duplicate‑detection configuration panels are only available in English. Another junior teammate misadjusted the matching thresholds, creating piles of duplicate lead records that I had to deduplicate manually across thousands of rows. We store outreach scripts and lead archives on Nextcloud, hold internal sales syncs over Microsoft Teams, and send cold emails using Brevo Marketing Platform. All these issues add extra validation and correction steps for our team. It would be far better for DACH‑based SDR teams if there was native Clay connectivity, fully fixed CSV encoding for German characters, and full German translation for every advanced setting.
