"Efficient Solar Design, Needs Minor Slope Improvements"

What do you like best about PVFARM?

I like PVFARM because it makes grading and terrain review easier. It helps me quickly check slopes, proposed ground, cut/fill quantities, and layout impacts. The visual outputs are also helpful for understanding design issues and making faster decisions. The grading and terrain features help me understand site conditions quickly and make it easier to identify steep areas, check slope limits, review proposed ground, and estimate cut/fill quantities. What do you dislike about PVFARM?

PVFARM is helpful, but some areas could be improved. The Tie Slope does not always connect smoothly with the existing ground, and in some locations it may extend beyond the expected boundary, this can affect grading accuracy and require extra manual review. Response from Brennon Cox of PVFARM

Hey Jeevan, thrilled that the terrain features are helping you visualize slopes and calculate cut/fill quantities faster. You're spot on about the Tie Slope quirk extending beyond expected boundaries and not connecting smoothly. We know extra manual grading review defeats the purpose of automation, so our team is digging into the slope logic to tighten those boundaries up.
