"PuTTY: Simple, Lightweight, and Reliable SSH Access"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PuTTY?

What I like best about PuTTY is its simplicity and reliability. It’s lightweight and works really well for securely connecting to remote servers via SSH. The interface is straightforward, making it especially useful for managing Linux/Unix systems, legacy environments, and quick server access without unnecessary complexity. What do you dislike about PuTTY?

One thing I dislike about PuTTY is that sessions can disconnect quickly if there’s a delay in entering authentication details like the PIN. While it’s good from a security perspective, it can sometimes feel inconvenient during frequent logins or when handling multiple connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
