## Push Operations Reviews
  ### 1. Transitioning to Push

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen D. | Director of Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

-the interconnectivity between diverse locations and brand concepts
-payroll is made extremely simple, especially things like Stat Pay and remittances
-scheduler is a great tool and easy to learn and use

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

-I don't like how we can't update the forms section to a greater extent. For instance, one of the forms we have for on-boarding is a menu guide with allergies, ingredients, descriptions, etc. Everyone has to look at it to be scheduled. BUT when we update the menu guide and put it into Push, people who have *already* completed their on-boarding do not have access to the new menu guide. They can only see the one that they looked at during on-boarding.
-I don't like how there isn't a repository or library of important doc. We have been using the Forms section for this but I'd rather have a library section that I can update frequently, and also alert my staff when any docs have been updated.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On-boarding has been standardized and regulated, which we struggled with in the past due to having so many distinct locations and concepts. Using Push has allowed for standardization and centralization of information.

  ### 2. Promising interface with a few shortfalls and challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raffi Z. | Financial Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Before PUSH, we used a separate software for payroll, a separate one for scheduling, and a separate one for the employees to punch-in. Push has allowed us to streamline the payroll process by allowing us to integrate all those processes into one. The interface is modern and user-friendly and allows us to centralise HR and Payroll documents in one place. It is also nice that individual employees have access to their profiles and documents. With all technology companies, their support services can have a massive impact on customer satisfaction, and I’m happy to say that PUSH support has been very good, and timely. There were some growing pains at the beginning, however the PUSH support teams have generally been quick to respond and have been helpful and understanding.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

As a super administrator, and the financial controller of our company, I am particularly interested with the accounting side of payroll. Although I have seen improvements in this area during the almost four years we have been using PUSH, there are still some shortcomings, some more concerning than others. I will not go into the technical details, but to any accountant reading this please note that, in my mind, PUSH is primarily a “technology solutions” company, providing great integration services. This is great for your operations team but may leave you frustrated and even baffled at times. PUSH was not built with accounting and reporting in mind, lacking the robustness, and even come simple controls that we as accountants are used to. These issues are further compounded for a company like ours who has hundreds of employees, working out of multiple locations over four provinces.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally, I primarily use PUSH for the recording, accounting, and reporting of payroll, payroll related expenses, and year-end filing. I’m not sure if PUSH has helped make my processes smoother, although my colleagues, from different departments, have found that PUSH has been helpful in implementing solutions to solve their HR related problems.

  ### 3. Using PUSH is easy and they offer great assistance.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawna V. | Payroll Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

PUSH payroll system is fairly easy to use even before going to the tutorials. Everything is straightforward and logical. If you can't find something, the email support team are awesome.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

The online help isn't always easy to maneuver. Have had a few times when I just could not find the info I was after. That could be input error, though.
The reporting could be easier to print out. Exporting to a spreadsheet is ok, but not always printable. (We like paper here!!)
Call-in support is sketchy at best. Wait times can be long, but that also depends on the timing. Year end of course is a bit of a nightmare for both sides!
Not sure if it's possible, but a reminder that input needs to be a day earlier when long weekends are involved, would be helpful.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us the ability to track our peak times for staff scheduling.
Employee holiday requests that let the other employees step in.
Rehiring is a breeze now! Less input time for the admins.

  ### 4. Push Operations - Scheduling Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jed B. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I use Push Operations for HR, Scheduling and Forecasting. Scheduling through Push is straightforward and efficient, allowing us to create and adjust shifts with ease. The system is intuitive, minimizing the time spent on scheduling-related tasks. As this is my main tool I use daily for our business I am happy with it's overall functionality and ease of use. Also, it should be noted that our implementation of Push went smooth and without issue.

The staff onboarding process is also well-designed. It facilitates a smooth transition for new hires by providing a clear structure for managing documents, roles, and other necessary onboarding steps. This helps ensure that the process is organized and efficient, without requiring excessive time or effort.

Push customer support is good. They are timely in responding to issues.

I have used Push in two businesses one retail and one pub/restaurant and overall, is a solid solution for businesses seeking to optimize their scheduling and staff management. It offers a functional, user-friendly interface that enhances operational efficiency without unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Push integrates well with other software to allow data to be shared between platforms however I have been having some issues with forecasting labor efficiently however, I do understand I have some unique challenges in our business and may not be a general reflection of how Push does in this regard.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push has helped us streamline onboarding and HR related tasks. It has also been great in centralizing documentation and has saved us from a lot of paper wastage. Also, scheduling online has been wonderful and it is easy for staff to see and manage their schedule and availability.

  ### 5. Overpromised and underdelivered

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica I. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Honestly nothing that is special to Push that other programs don't have

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

-the layout of schedules-can't print an actual schedule
-the response time to fix an issue - for example performance reviews have a weird setting and it is allowing everyone to see a completed review
-everything you add or do takes forever to give the appropriate people access
-the Indeed postings are terrible and get terrible views - I still have to post on our Indeed account to get an appropriate number of applicants
-adding a position if they have it archived has to be done by someone who can view wages-when they can add a position if they haven't had the position before and set to 0 for someone else to complete later
-the logbook layout-too much information on there to give access to people to actually use
-the worst part is that our team cannot punch out for lunch from their phones - they have to go to a punch clock. As we a large farm and have up to 200 people working during our busy time and the space here is spread out over acres this was a huge factor in our decision process and found out after the fact that they can't punch out for lunch. This was a complete lie to us and our needs that our sales person know. When providing previous feedback to a manager, I am just told sorry we will pass that along.
-I was supposed to receive a credit of $600+ and have not received that yet (this was from October)
-everything takes so long - you have to block off an hour to have a call because no one on the other end knows what they are doing.
Sorry, but I'm continually frustrated by this program!

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not solving any problem that another program couldn't. It has caused me more problems than solutions.

**Official Response from marketing team:**

> Hi Erica, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your frustrations and truly appreciate you outlining your concerns. Your experience is important to us, and we want to make things right.

A member of our team will be reaching out to you directly to troubleshoot these issues and discuss how we can better support your needs. We value your input and are committed to improving your experience with Push.

  ### 6. Amazing scheduling system, with so many useful functions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex D. | Shift manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I like that it’s not just a scheduling tool. When I was first introduced to it many, many years ago, we primarily used it just for scheduling shift. Over time many new features such as messaging boards, individual messaging, and payroll applications have become my favourite tools! It’s like a one stop shop for for connecting your entire team! There are also so many opportunities for custom settings that you can really customize it to your workplace needs.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

One things I wish you could do is not let people clock in until a preset time before their shift starts. Example: someone starts at 5:00, but they clock in at 4:41. It would be nice if push had a feature that notified them they they were clocking in to early and to either get a manager override to start early or to come back and clock in 5 minutes before their shift.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling is easier. Shift swaps are easier. Having payroll and scheduling on the same app is also amazing!

  ### 7. In general, push is user friendly, easy to use and intuitive for both the managers and staff.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor I. | Owner/Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Mobile access, ease of execution and understanding of how it works is awesome and overall the system is easy to understand and gather required details.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Clock edits are time consuming and I would rather an option of an excel sheet to mass edit and submit at once. The constant load and reload feature is too time consuming.

I also think there's some reporting options missing like "show me who's been late" . Currently I take a different report and have to chat GPT it to break out the data I need.

I also wish that people could set there end date of employment where it will block them off the schedule to avoid potentially being scheduled.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling is easy but I think an AI integration for insights would be helpful.
"This person routinely works outside their schedule"
"This person hasn't worked in 6 weeks"
etc.

  ### 8. Push is great for scheduling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin S. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I really like the ease of use for scheduling with Push. The options for the staff requesting time off and releasing shifts makes my job much easier. I like that I can easily see the schedule for the day on the app on my phone and also see and use most of the functions right from my phone in real time.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

When time off or shift changes are accepted we can't find a record of it

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving staffing shortages by allowing staff to release/pick up shifts so when someone is sick or unable to work they can get the shift covered on their own instead of just calling in to the restaurant to say they can't work. It benefits me because I spend less time trying to get shifts covered.

  ### 9. never spending days working on schedule again

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard S. | Operations and Events Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

As a manager it makes scheduling and staff organization so easy. I have real time control of my team from my phone. that allows me to constantly maintain my staffing requirements and communication with the team.
For the staff, being able to create their schedule availability and shift swaps without needing me to over be a part of it.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

It is getting better as it grows and updates. I do feel though that some of the user interfaces are a little basic and could do with some stream lining.

Schedule layout works, but not easy without massive screen or high resolution. leads to some frustrated moments of scrolling.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

updates are good improvements. although have not seen any real big changes to the staffing/scheduling side.

  ### 10. Does some things well, but in need of improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

automates calculation of Stat pay for employees
can import some info in bulk such as earnings & deductions, payroll processing is faster because of this.
support phone line is quick to answer

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Not that intuitive of a platform, and there's almost too much information & reports, there's a lot of features, but a lot are not being used and some terminology is confusing. Some info cannot be imported and must be entered manually.

Have had open customer service tickets for weeks, inconsistent with level of service. Some people will really dive in and support you, while others will give you bare-bones instructions (and often times wrong or doesn't work) and tell you to fix it yourself.

Had a lot of issues, deductions/earnings, information missed or incorrect. All challenges with setting up even with help implementing from support team. Instructions are from the Push, so it seems like the system is confusing for their own employees too.

There's been incorrect ROEs and push puts it back on the company to correct.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

manual calculations and entry

  ### 11. Push Operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Push Operations is extremely user friendly and was easy to implement. It has a help section which is quick to get to and easy to navigate. Any time I've needed additional support either through email or phone, I've received quick feedback and step by step instructions to guide me. Support always double checks to ensure everything went as planned after providing assistance. Having the ability to navigate through all 3 businesses under one hub is also convenient and time efficient, as I am frequently in and out of the program throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I run 3 retail stores, although I like having the ability to see all stores under one hub, I wish there was an option for the logbook to be separated by the 3 stores, with an option to allow certain administrators the ability to see all 3 stores logbooks when necessary.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push Operations allows me to quickly and easily add new employees and administrators, schedule, see my businesses as a whole in the scheduling, or separately. The clock in/out approval process is quick and easy, along with the ability to create a clock audit report that catches any missed clock in/outs that were missed. Running payroll is easy. Having the invoices in the same platform is also extremely useful.

  ### 12. Best Payroll System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I have experience working with multiple payroll systems and Push is by far the best. I love how it seamlessly integrates the entire employee process from job ads & hiring/ offer letters to onboarding, HR items (forms, reviews etc), scheduling, time/tracking to payroll. The ability to upload and save files to an employee's profile eliminates the need for paper employment records. Overall everything works well with no issues. Their help centre is very useful and their support team responds quickly with helpful responses if needed.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I don't have much negative to sure. It has happened once or twice where support email requests have had slow response and required follow up but this is a very rare occurrence. Otherwise no complaints.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Push for our whole employee management process: job ads, hiring, employment offers, new hire onboarding, scheduling, forms/ reviews, time tracking and payroll.

  ### 13. Push Operations is a great payroll system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug P. | Restaurant Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Push Operations is very user friendly. I like that the platform is clean and easy to navigate. I like that it easily integrates with our POS system. It was so easy to implement into our business and the staff really likes the access to their own payroll information.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I have been using Push Operations for over 4 years and I haven't had any issue that wasn't easily solvable in an email or a phone call.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most helpful part about Push Operations is the reduction of clutter. One platform does everything that I need it to do. All of your HR needs at the click of a button.

  ### 14. Great for FOH but harder in the back end

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Ease of use for our over 100+ employees. Clocking in/out, breaks, time off, etc. Great for Department Managers to schedule, accept time off requests, plan around stat holidays.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I feel as though the back end with Sick Days, Salary Employees: Vac Days, Sick Pay, etc could be easier to use. I also think that the chat in PUSH for employees should have a feature to use on a desktop/laptop.
The Earnings/Deductions could be easier to use and navigate. It would be great to be able to select an employee and enter all E/D's per employee, then one E/D for all employees. This would ensure nothing for the specific employee is missed.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Day in and out of having over 100 employees with all things that are payroll and schduling related. Because of PUSH we have been abelt o transfer our HR dept over.

  ### 15. Very easy to work with and save me time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcos C. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Integrate with my pos, very simple to do schedules and copy over, payroll very fast to do it. It was very ease tom implement with my pos.
the costumer support is very fast on reply.
Very simple on daily use to approve clock in and clock out.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I cant past the information from an employee from one store to another.
I think is a paid feature.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before i used to spend a lot of time for scheduling and payroll.
The supervisor has a better control of labor for the day and make sure the business don't go over helping on our Pnl.

  ### 16. This app makes everything so easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul P. | Shiftleader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Push has been great! Making the switch from our previous scheduling and management applications was tough as it was so new, but it has been a great app to view schedules, see paystubs, etc. Everything I need is on the App!

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

The chat function could be a little bit better.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push gives real-time updates on sales going on within the restaurant, and helps me keep track of how many labour dollars we are spending as well! Great app, very easy to use and has helped out a lot within the business!

  ### 17. Push Makes It Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa M. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Push makes it easy to streamline all things employee related, especially with a large number of staff. It helps me remain organized and keeps the team informed and up to date.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

There are so many features to push that if not on-boarded properly, you may miss. There were a number of times I was misinformed on things like how to properly include holiday pay, and had to then do it manually.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push is making scheduling easier because it pulls data from sales which allows me to see labour costs on real time all in one place

  ### 18. Push has revolutionized our restaurant.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie H. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

It helps with all of our payroll needs massively, allowing everything to be done all in place from payroll, scheduling and HR. The customer support is excellent, with rarely any wait times, and consistent helpful support. Highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

At first the scheduling side can be a little technical, so that took a while to get the hang of, but once we were able to get our head round it, it was a great tool!

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to reduce the need for external HR companies as Push integrates it all in one easy to use system.

  ### 19. Amazing !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayisha M. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

From onboarding to user support, everything is seamless and support staff are all great !

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I really don't see any downside. The operation is very user friendly and live support is also always available, even though its not needed the much, because of how user friendly the platform is.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me spend very little time doing payroll and scheduling. It takes me less than 5 minutes to do payroll twice a month. And even scheduling only requires about 15 minutes of my time once a week.

  ### 20. The best payroll system around!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glenn M. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

-Ease of on boarding new employees.
-Payroll takes me 5 minutes every 2 weeks to process, on a previous payroll company it would take me upwards of 30-45 minutes.
-Not having to calculate STAT pay has saved me about an hour a month.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

The only dislike I have is the system not having the current ability to calculate Sick pay.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push has saved me countless hours in the last 2 years that I am able to use to focus on my business and family.

  ### 21. Easy payroll operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly M. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

The ability to approve clocks, and approve payroll anywhere and anytime. The support team has also been prompt and thorough when I have questions.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I haven’t really experienced any downsides, other than the length of time it is taking to process my company’s T4 slips.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our paper timesheets would often get lost, this prevents that from happening. Employees now have a more accurate clock in and clock out time and there is no misrepresentation of hours worked because of the photo feature.

  ### 22. Enjoy the use of Push for it's simplicity and how it has replaced a number of other services we used

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seyoung C. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

As a daily user of Push, we enjoy how easy it has been to make our schedules. The ability for the whole team to see everything has been great. All the numbers as it is synced and integrated to our Silverware system is also very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Wish the mobile application version had all the features the web does

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the schedules altogether with the payroll makes it easy for us. The automated features of adding shifts to schedules is also much appreciated

  ### 23. It was a great experinece, quick and fast response from teh team member to help out.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teg K. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

This is a fantastic mobile app that has been significantly enhanced to manage schedules effectively from the phone. This feature truly saves time while working on the floor during operations.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I suggest working a little more to enhance the mobile push app for a quick and efficient experience for the managers on the floor.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help manage the labour cost and help to put the system out on consistently. Easy to update and communicate with staff members on the Push Chat groups.

  ### 24. Great Scheduling & Payroll System

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I really like using push for our weekly schedules and also for the payroll. The desktop version is very user friendly. The customer service is great and always very friendly.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I wish that the admin app was better and you could do more on it. I also wish it had a few features like being able to send a message in direct response to a time off or scheduling request. You can only accept or reject. Using the system in a browser on your phone does not work well either unfortunately. This all being said we have been customers for years and plan to continue.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time on payroll has been cut down. Scheduling is much easier.

  ### 25. Incredible helpful tool to manage our teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabrizio B. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Definitely the support (quick and efficient) but more then everything the implementation tailored for our needs

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I can't see any issue about Push. It has everything we need

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push Operations makes it super easy to schedule and replicate shifts for 40+ employees, which saves a ton of time. Changing shifts and tracking time-off requests is effortless, and running payroll plus having all the information about our employees and all the records in one place is my favourite thing.

  ### 26. Easy breezy payroll tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Slick UI, easy-to-grasp technology, and the best customer support. Whenever I've had a question, or issue, or just needed to know something, the CS team is quick to respond/pick up the phone and solve the problem. It's incredibly helpful!

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Very little, but the breadth of options the platform provides can make it a little tough to find features sometimes. A quick phone call to customer support solves it every time.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turnkey solution for payroll and scheduling.

  ### 27. Great for Canadian Payroll

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I have saved so much time since I started using Push for my scheduling & payroll. I had a lot of support during onboarding and have found the features of the scheduling and payroll modules to be very robust.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I would love it if Push had chat support as I have found email support to be a bit slow. I also think the user interface and design could be improved. We had hoped to use Push for our team communications as well, but found the features were lacking for our needs.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Push, my scheduling and Payroll were hosted on separate platforms which meant I spent a lot of time entering timesheet info into our payroll software, confirming the information, and then manually calculating holiday time. This is the main reason we moved to Push - to work with a program that would automatically do this for us, and that was specifically designed for the Canadian market. Ultimately it has saved me a lot of time and mental energy.

  ### 28. Worth having but takes a lot of time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham T. | General Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

That it is handy application and is easy to access

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

That it doesn’t allow you to have 2 tags on people assigned for job - let’s say someone is opening the company and they are also training someone - I won’t be able to put training tag and opening tag to the person assigned since I can only put one tag per person.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it has helped me in segregating different employees as per their position

  ### 29. User friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Although it seemed 'difficult' at the very beginning, after 2 months of payroll (we've been using it for a a few years now) it was so easy compared to Quickbooks, which was our old system. I can get payroll done in less than an hour, and I LOVE that it does our direct deposits and taxes for me, instead of me having to do everything manually.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Some things are a little fiddly. If you don't click every button in the right order, you have to start over, but after a few months on it, it's second nature now.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking care of the minutia of payroll. Paying taxes, and direct deposit for employees.

  ### 30. Overall good product with diverse functionality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miyuru N. | Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

One-stop solution for HR, Payroll and employee experience enhancement. Non-complex functionality is also key.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

It needs to improve a bit more on payroll compliance of the specific jurisdiction and focus more on fine-tuning its functionality. For example, Push Offers conducts performance reviews, but it does not let the employee acknowledge having participated in the review, which defeats the purpose.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes onboarding and scheduling more efficient. Despite needing further fine-tuning, overall deliverables are commendable

  ### 31. Perfect for detailed reporting and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna B. | Payroll and reporting administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Push is a great tool for Restaurants. Integrates with various POS systems and provides very detailed reports. The payroll portion of the program is super easy to use. Customer service is very helpful and always ready to help!

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I don't see any negatives in using push. Even the setup is easy.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to extract various types of data and reports from Push which helps us budget, plan and forecast.

  ### 32. Effortless Payroll Management with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I've been using this payroll software for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with it. The platform is incredibly easy to navigate, making payroll processing smooth and hassle-free. Anytime I need assistance, the support team is always there to help, providing prompt and knowledgeable service. It’s a reliable and user-friendly solution that has made managing payroll so much easier. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

As someone who is not an accountant I would like a little bit of definitions for items I may not use often or have common knowledge for.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small business owner and with no accounting background, it makes payroll very easy for me.

  ### 33. My experience is good with PUSH

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I use Push for reporting. The reports are intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I wish there was a consolidated option to let me see the payroll info for multiple companies. Oftentimes, I need to generate the same report over and over again for different companies.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help to administer EHT and WSIB filing and payments, which takes the burden off the finance team

  ### 34. Easy to use and efficient!

  ### 35. Push works well assuming you have a straighforward business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison E. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

Schedules connected to timesheets is great. HR and onboarding is great with files and integration. Decently easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Setting up staff access is clunky as we have many managers and approvers. Mass earnings and deductions is not great if you have lots of departments and positions. I wish you could send out file updates easier.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR and onboarding headaches.

  ### 36. Push Payroll

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I worked for a restaurant in 2017 that used Push. A few years later, I became an office manager in the heavy equipment industry who was looking for a payroll software that ingrates with Xero. Push makes the transition simple for people like myself who are not payroll and HR experts. No matter the industry, Push is there for support every step of the way!

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I've been using Push for payroll since 2021 and have not come across anything to dislike about it!

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push is very user friendly, I have more time to focus on the needs of the business!

  ### 37. Efficient Payroll System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate C. | Hospitality manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

The notifications , the request options and how instant everything is.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Sometimes it gets “ stuck “ when trying to sign in with a photo , it takes ages to load - just sometimes . Then one has to take wifi off and then on again .

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unaware of what is being solved but I generally have a good experience with push.

  ### 38. It’s easy and intuitive. And the support system for calling is great. Fast.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

I love the copy paste function for transferring schedules to week to week. Saves a lot of time on making schedule as well as the ability to manipulate while in draft modes

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I think when creating shifts sometimes the buttons are sticky and glitchy. It not as quick to move shift cells from one block to another.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push is saving us on cost its a platform that is the most cost effective for us. Push also allows us function that is clear to the staff and it helps them navigate HR related matters in comfort and confidence.

  ### 39. easy app it’s nt confusing in scheduling easy to the documents and very easy to assess all the forms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sukh R. | Restaurant manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

That you can switch your shift with someone just in the app by releasing the shift and by picking up the shift

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Sometime if you’re making schedule the automatic window close time is very short

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push makes easy for my staff to put the day off and also take the shifts when somebody is releasing me exchanging the shifts

  ### 40. Push needs to look at more intuitive apps like 7Shifts

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Push Operations?**

being able to onboard new employees without paperwork.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

Scheduling is slow with lag times between shifts. Manager app is limited in scope. Having to plug in employees unique and then roles to see my specific schedule- I should be able to set this. The pop up warnings freeze everything, wish I could shut that off. I would like to be able to access employees phone numbers from the app. I would like to be able to alter the schedule from the app. Look at all the options on 7Shifts which you can effectively manage.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

zero.

Good software for handling payroll and scheduling/swaps. The linked employee feature is great for us who share employees between two locations.

**What do you dislike about Push Operations?**

I imagine there could be a better way to handle tips.
A feature for team chat / communication would be appreciated, we had to use a different software for this.
The Square sales figure integration doesn't quite work as advertised, but not that important.

**What problems is Push Operations solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push is great for tracking clock ins via the app and syncing it with our payroll calculations and deductions, also handling tax forms.
