If someone tried to cut the emergency roll call, that’s the feature I’d fight to keep—we run shoots with lighting rigs and cables everywhere, and being able to account for everyone in under a minute matters to me more than any of the day-to-day features. The occupancy data has also been genuinely useful: it helped inform our decision not to take the larger unit next door, and that ended up being worth more than the licence costs. It’s an office tool that we’re trying to use in a production studio, and that mismatch shows up all the time. Concepts like “meeting room” and “desk booking” just don’t translate to a crew’s day-to-day.
