We bring in a lot of talent for auditions and shoots, and pre-registering them means they can check in quickly instead of sitting around at reception getting nervous. The photo capture on the badges has been genuinely useful for me—when you’re meeting twelve people in an afternoon, having a face attached to a name makes a real difference. I also like having the visitor log as a clear record of who came in for which session, since that information used to live in a notebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Group check-in is slow. Auditions run in blocks, and having fifteen people arrive at once and all queue for a single kiosk just isn’t practical, so I often end up checking everyone in under one name. There’s no QR code option, which would fix this immediately. Also, the visitor fields don’t give me anywhere to note what role someone is reading for, which is the information I actually need.
