What do you like best about Prophix Software?

The tool is very flexible for customizing the software to our business needs and even if we need to rebuild the structures and data cubes. The experienced Prophix consultants are a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. The budget can be housed within Prophix rather than within multiple spreadsheets.

Other highlights are Multi-tiered Allocations, great at Variance Analysis, helps with budget streamlining, its flexible for building reports on almost anything in any format and staying powerful with analysis of huge volumes of data. They also have an amazing community forum of users to support each other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prophix Software?

Dashboard aspects is still a little weak, and graph editing could be better on the advanced graph editing; as excel is still more capable of that. Report builders usage to build a report to match something that you were doing in excel can be a challenge sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Prophix Software:

Good tool for reporting and budgeting.

Very easy to compile ad hoc reporting easily for execs/management.

Monthly reports can be set up to distribute automatically.

What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently we do Financial planning and consolidation of our budget, Internal operational reporting and analysis and personnel budgeting within Prophix.
