We really like the drill-down feature since it allows us to get to the root cause for why expense codes are higher or lower than expected compared to the budget. The ability to flex budget and look at actual results versus the budget at any given moment is quite valuable. The dashboard is also beneficial as it showcases our key critical KPIs on each user's screen based on their needs. Additionally, the initial setup and implementation were very easy, thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful implementation team, who were great at explaining things to users of all levels in a flexible and understanding way. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** One thing that has frustrated some of the users is on the Prophix training. The training is designed for basic users, and most of our users have some experience with Microsoft Power BI. They understand some of the characteristics of cubes and layers, so those sections of the training don't really hold their attention. However, you still have to go through it to complete your certification. A way to bypass some segments based on expertise or maybe a test could be beneficial for other users. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prophix Software helps us prepare financial statements using ERP data and transition budgeting from Excel to a more secure platform. It facilitates long-range forecasting, is easy to use, and offers a drill-down feature for detailed analysis. The dashboard showcases KPIs for user-specific needs. ### 2. It allows us to switch versions, time, and layout quickly. The workflows are useful for reminding people to enter data. Prophix saves us time on report creation, as it's faster and more reliable than using Excel, where there's always a concern about formulas or errors. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** Although the workflows are great, we've had issues with users not getting email notifications (which they said they fixed last year), with the opposite now, of users getting multiple duplicate emails. The Dashboard could also use more options, like more graph types available, with different color schemes and dynamic data. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prophix Software consolidates data across ERPs, eliminating multiple Excel versions prone to loss, enabling custom reports for quick ad hoc requests, and providing workflows that remind users to enter data promptly, making it faster and more reliable for financial planning and analysis. ### 3. I like its very flexible option to apply different allocation rules. Since it's a cloud software, it allows users to log in from any place, which I appreciate. The reporting structure and template flexibility stand out for me as well. The Dashboard, Process Manager, and Templates Studio are the top features that I use the most. I also value the easy understanding, integration, and quick results; for example, consolidations that used to take 24-48 hours in previous software now take just about 2 hours with Prophix. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** we feel the prophix reporting tool could be better and more flexible like excel **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prophix Software keeps all required information in one place, significantly reduces consolidation time from 24-48 hours to 2 hours, and offers easy understanding and integration. ### 5. This reduces bottlenecks with the finance team and encourages self-service reporting. The platform is also very stable—reports roll forward cleanly from year to year without breaking, which saves significant time during budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles. Overall, it strikes a strong balance between flexibility, governance, and reliability. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** I wish they would continue to sell on-prem licenses. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prophix solves the challenge of consolidating and analyzing complex, multi-entity financial data in a timely and consistent way. It enables us to consolidate results in near real time across hundreds of databases and legal entities, including multi-currency operations. We can budget in a static currency while analyzing actuals versus budget in constant currency, which removes FX noise and gives us a true view of underlying performance. Prophix also allows us to slice and analyze the business across multiple dimensions—geography, business unit, function, and legal entity—without rebuilding reports. ### 6. The learning curve on how to use things is also fairly steep. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** It brought all of our data together into one spot and gave us an easier way to budget and forecast. Implementation process is great as they have a consultant show you how to do all the setup and configuration meaning you can update or create new models with ease in the future. **What do you dislike about Prophix Software?** Prophix has grown rapidly by introducing new modules, and I find it challenging to keep up with all the changes. However, this also shows that they are making significant investments in the platform. **What problems is Prophix Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prophix provides us with excellent reporting and analytical insights at month end and it plays an important role in our consolidated financial reporting. Additionally, we have set up constant currency reporting, which allows us to compare results against a constant currency basis. ### 8.
