What do you like best about Prophet CRM?

What I appreciate most about Prophet CRM is how deeply it lives inside Microsoft 365 Outlook, which aligns perfectly with how our B2B consulting team works day‑to‑day at Stratford Business Advisors in Austin. Our sales people live in Outlook; they handle prospect inquiries, client follow‑ups and consulting‑deal correspondence within their inbox. Before this tool, asking them to jump out to a separate CRM window meant they would push data logging to later, and very often forget entirely. With Prophet CRM, when a prospect emails us asking about our advisory services, reps can link that thread straight to an existing account or spin up a brand‑new opportunity without leaving their email view. This dramatically cuts down manual typing and encourages much higher organic user adoption across our sales group. As the sales‑ops lead, I can quickly pull pipeline snapshots and review contact records right within the familiar Microsoft ecosystem. That makes my periodic CCPA compliance audits far less cumbersome, since I can validate that our datasets for US‑based business contacts are complete and properly maintained. The embedded design removes a huge amount of friction for front‑line sellers, and that translates into more reliable deal history and cleaner forecasting inputs for our leadership team. What do you dislike about Prophet CRM?

While Prophet CRM’s Outlook‑native design solves many of our workflow pain points, it comes with real operational headaches for our mid‑sized B2B consulting firm. We run into intermittent sync glitches where meeting notes, email links or consulting‑deal updates made inside Outlook never properly push through to the opportunity records. These issues do not throw obvious error messages, so we frequently uncover missing activity logs only during our quarterly pipeline reviews. That forces me to circle back with individual sales reps to reconstruct lost deal context, which eats up valuable sales‑ops bandwidth. The platform’s native reporting capabilities are also pretty limited. Building layered custom forecasts for our consulting service lines means I have to export raw datasets and do heavy lifting inside Excel. Most impactful for my compliance work, Prophet CRM does not ship with purpose‑built CCPA‑aligned contact‑purge workflows. When California‑based consulting clients submit formal data‑deletion requests, there is no one‑click way to locate and scrub all related records. I have to manually hunt down contacts across accounts, opportunities and historical activity entries. These are not show‑stopping bugs that break sales activity, but they create consistent, avoidable admin overhead for our lean operations team, especially during busy deal‑heavy quarters.
