"Pays fast and studies are good, but too few of them"

4/5

What do you like best about Prolific?

Payments are quick, and that's the main reason I stay on Prolific. Every study shows the reward, the time and the hourly rate before I start, so there are no surprises. Most studies are well made, with clear instructions and fair pay for the time. The site matches me with surveys and tasks that suit my profile, so I don't waste time on ones I won't qualify for. I've also contacted support once and they were helpful, which isn't always the case with platforms like this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prolific?

The biggest issue is that there aren't enough studies. On some days I check and there's nothing I qualify for, so I can't count on it for steady earnings. Getting in was also slow. I was on the waitlist for about a year before I got selected. I get that they want to keep the quality high, but it would help if they gave a rough idea of how long the wait is, and sent a quick alert when a study matching my profile comes up. What problems is Prolific solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Prolific, finding paid online work I could do in my free time was hard, and a lot of survey sites felt unreliable or never paid out. Now I get surveys, academic studies and data review tasks from real researchers, and I get paid on time. It gives me a steady way to earn a little extra alongside my studies and other work. The matching also saves me time, because I mostly see studies I actually qualify for instead of searching through a long list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
