I really like Prolific because it gives me the opportunity and experience to share my voice and opinions, both through text and voice. I also regularly take surveys for academic reasons, and I sometimes appreciate being rewarded for the time I put in. The site adapts to my educational background and location for research purposes, which helps me understand the context of each study and makes the overall experience easier to follow. Overall, Prolific is a great platform, but there are a few areas that could be improved. In terms of Support and Onboarding, the UI/UX for the main profile setup feels somewhat restrictive. The drop-down menu options for demographic questions—especially around educational background and specialized skills—are too limited for my needs, and they don’t always reflect my current qualifications. Because of that, I feel these constraints can negatively affect the platform’s AI and demographic matching, which then leads to fewer relevant study invitations.
On the Pricing/ROI side, the minimum payout threshold feels a bit high (6). It means I have to spend more time accumulating earnings before I’m able to cash out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
