**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

I like that it makes running payroll easier for our small business. As a small family business, I can make sure everything is correct on our end, and ProLiant can handle all the processing for us. It gives us peace of mind and helps us spend our time on more pressing matters.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

I honestly haven’t found a downside to using ProLiant compared to our previous process. The only thing I can point to is that if our internet connection goes down, or if ProLiant is having technical issues, it can create a short wait period. Even then, it’s manageable and not something that would make me stop using ProLiant.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier to run time cards and process payroll, which helps streamline the overall workflow.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

We had some personnel changes last year, and the ProLiant team was a great help in working with new staff to understand the system and make necessary changes to better meet the needs of our organization.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

When printing check stubs under the Pay History tab, it would be of great help to be able to print more than one at a time. Having to click on each individual check to print the stub takes up quite a bit of time that we really don't have to spare.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system has greatly improved our onboarding and payroll processes. Each department being able to access the information they need to complete their job tasks eliminates the time it was taking to clear up confusion or errors.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

I appreciate that ProLiant's customer service is probably the best I've seen. We're still finalizing implementation, but everybody has been top notch, making a challenging experience very easy. The level of training, customer service, and knowledge we have had with ProLiant is excellent. The initial setup of ProLiant was very easy.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

I was actually just having this conversation this morning. There are a couple things that we don't love, like how they sort by employee ID versus last name, and it's easier for us by last name. So I would love to see that changed or have the ability to change that. For everything that we don't like, there are 10 things that we love, so the good definitely outweigh anything we dislike.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProLiant solves the problem of poor customer service and data integritywe experienced with Paycor. Their superb support has made implementation smooth and easy, with excellent training and knowledgeable staff.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

I find ProLiant very helpful with onboarding, especially simplifying eVerify for us. All of the onboarding forms are collected and available in one repository, which is super convenient. The PTO requests and tracking are streamlined through ProLiant, making it an efficient process. I love having a dedicated representative who is extremely responsive whenever we have a question or issue. The payroll process itself is very intuitive and flows well, and the initial setup was very easy with attentiveness and help from the ProLiant team. The integration is great, as we're transitioning to ProLiant for better data consolidation all in one place/software.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

I wish there was a way to automatically pro-rate a salaried employee whose employment begins mid-payroll period.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that ProLiant simplifies onboarding and eVerify for us, streamlines our PTO requests and tracking, and allows us to have all forms in one place, saving us time.

Two standout capabilities completely transform our German HR compliance workflows: guaranteed domestic data residency and rock-solid consistent uptime for our payroll systems. Hosting every piece of employee PII, DATEV payroll data and personnel audit logs on our on-site ProLiant hardware means we never have to compile lengthy quarterly Schrems II cross-border data transfer assessments that cloud hosting forces our competitors to complete. I can run our Documize compliance archive library and live DATEV payroll sync databases side-by-side simultaneously with zero lag or unexpected outages, which is non-negotiable when hitting tight month-end payroll and audit deadlines. Beyond data location and reliability, the built-in hardware security stack and flexible hot-swap storage scaling save our IT and HR teams dozens of admin hours monthly. Native server-level hardware encryption meets all technical safeguard rules laid out in DSGVO; every payroll file, medical staff record and employment contract is locked at rest directly on the hardware itself. Real-time security monitoring triggers immediate alerts for any unauthorized login or server access attempt, and all activity logs auto-save in a format our local German data protection authority accepts for official audits. There are zero pre-built, localized German audit reporting templates optimized for DSGVO and GoBD recordkeeping standards; our internal IT resource has to manually build custom log export schemas from scratch every quarter to submit evidence to our external data protection auditor. Service responsiveness is another consistent frustration: any hardware component failure requires a certified HPE field technician to travel out from central Stuttgart. Sometimes it's unclear who the specialized support reps are for specific areas (tax, time & labor) especially since we have several companies. It would be nice to have a uniform team for all of our accounts and have this reflected in the "My Service Team" part of the website. I have sometimes received poor service from the reps (besides our account reps who have been very responsive and helpful)

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The updated custom report features have helped save time in creating labor allocation reports to track costs in different departments. The multi-company payroll dashboard is also helpful for us as an organization with several clients.

What I find most helpful about ProLiant is how it simplifies and centralizes HR and payroll management. Having payroll, time tracking, benefits administration, and HR reporting all in one system makes day-to-day operations much more efficient. The platform reduces manual work, minimizes errors, and helps ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws, which gives peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

The least helpful is the system can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users, and may require extra time or training to navigate. Some reports and customizations can also take additional steps or assistance to set up exactly as needed

I love the one-on-one relationship with my rep, Sue, at ProLiant. She makes the experience seamless, and I have found her assistance phenomenal, especially when dealing with employee W4 forms, correcting payroll issues, and setting up new employees. The employee self-service feature and the ease of setup of the portal are great. Overall, my experience with ProLiant has been wonderful, and their initial setup was very straightforward.

Nothing.

I use ProLiant for payroll, it assists with W4s, payroll issues, and new employee setups. The employee self-service and portal setup are easy. I love my one-on-one rep who makes the experience seamless. Nothing needs improvement; I'm very satisfied.

I think the customer service and the dedicated account managers are pretty on it, and they're pretty quick to respond when I have issues or concerns, which is great. The interface is decently easy to understand. I also appreciate that it can do a lot, even though I don't use many of the features.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

I think there's way too much going on and too many options, which makes it complicated for people like me who just want to keep it simple and easy. I wish the payroll process was more straightforward; like, just push a button to do payroll. Sometimes they recommend adding new pay codes or employee departments, which is overwhelming for a small retail company like ours with less than 10 employees. It feels like I need to be an HR expert to figure it out. The onboarding setup required going through lots of changes and rabbit holes to find basic things, which could be simpler.

I use ProLiant to manage payroll and onboarding, removing worries about tax season and configuring information. It automates payroll services halfway, offers a lot of options, and simplifies paperwork and documentation.

I like that ProLiant's employees are really nice and helpful. It's easy to use, which is a big plus for me. I also find it convenient to use their clocking in time feature as it keeps track of the time efficiently.

I've had a few issues with setting up new employees, which could be improved. Also, setting up ProLiant was very time consuming and took a long time, although the employees from ProLiant were very helpful during the setup process.

I enjoy using ProLiant for its easy and user-friendly navigation. The support team is usually already working on any issues that arise, which is reassuring. The payroll side is particularly user-friendly, making it easy to enter client pay rates, candidates, and information, with E-Verification being a plus. The hiring process is simplified by being able to easily view candidate resumes and not having to actively live search for candidates. The initial setup was super easy, and the user-friendly system made navigation straightforward when I first started.

I experience issues when sending the onboarding, as it sometimes does not want to send.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ProLiant makes the hiring process easy by allowing me to view candidate resumes and reducing the need to actively search for candidates. It's user-friendly for payroll, making it simple to enter client pay rates and candidate information. E-Verification is a plus.

I like that ProLiant is easy to use from both the admin side and for a normal user. As a user, I'm able to go in and update or change any documentation I might have. From the admin side, it's very user-friendly for setting up events and being able to modify or change existing employee status.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

Employee workflow could definitely be a lot better from the admin side. It would be great if the operation was smoother, especially when it comes to initiating the packet out to the employee. Being able to create a document from the admin side would stop the extra stuff you have to end up filling out and make the template a lot easier.

ProLiant solves our payroll issues, making it easier to run payroll. It's user-friendly from both the admin and user sides, allowing easy setup and updates.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

I appreciate ProLiant's excellent customer service, especially Caleb Lamb, who is easy to work with and helps us navigate complex issues, either handling them himself or connecting us to the right department. I really like the time importing and the automatic 401k and work comp reporting with each payroll process. The employee access and onboarding integration, which notifies us and allows on-site managers to onboard new employees, are very beneficial. ProLiant's integration with 3rd party links for 401k, health insurance, and work comp reporting adds great value.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ProLiant for tax filing, providing paystubs, and reporting. Customer service is great, time importing is smooth, and 401k, health insurance links enhance my efficiency. Onboarding integration allows us to onboard new employees seamlessly, and automatic work comp reporting with each payroll is convenient for us.

We've been working with ProLiant for more than 5 years now, and the experience has been outstanding. Their team is knowledgeable, responsive, and committed to helping our business run smoothly.

What really sets them apart is their personalized service. They take the time to understand our business and tailor their support to meet our specific needs. Whether it's helping with compliance, employee onboarding, or benefits management, they always go the extra mile.

We have occasionally had an issue with the amount of time it takes to get something changed with their IT department.

Proliant is excellent to do business with. They are very personable and will walk you through anything. You can receive as much training as you need until you feel comfortable. They are always just an email away.

I have no issues with the site.  The performance is great.  We have had a lot of help with onboarding.  and the pricing was good.

They are working on the PTO Integrations.  Once that is complete i suspect the site will be great.

Implementation has been smooth and easy.  Training is great. Support is very helpful. Report creating is very intuitive.

I haven't found anything I dislike. So many things are better than my previous provider.

Proliant is saving me money, increasing accuracy of payroll, and giving me tools to do my job better.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

Proliant continues to adapt to the changes within the world of HRIS systems, support is quick to respond and is extremely helpful to help guide.

I am a multi daily user of Proliant and having the accessibility of having everything located there, our ATS, benefits and time off viewer is ideal for our growing company - just have the one log in.  We continue to have more streamlined processes and the resources that Proliant offers make it easy to navigate.  Customer Support is responsive when asking a question via email and provide the necessary resources for the question asked.

Proliant continues to integrate items to make it easier for their clients to do business.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

Wish that the timeout feature would be longer - that is really the only thing I dislike since I spend a lot of time within Proliant.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any problems that I have had, I have reached out to our account manager and she has guided me to the right person and path that was needed.

The Proliant Team (set up team) was great when setting us all up and entering; at that time, close to 700 employees.    If I had any problems doing my part when we went live, they were to help.   They were very nice and very patient with me.

I have no problems, not sure I have realized any benefits other than an easy friendly program.

Minor confusion with deductions on the employee record and those within the HR tab deductions. This was a user navigation error on my end.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

The fact that I am able to call and get the help I need almost immediately, is very reassuring.  They will even stay on the phone with me to make sure I have solved the issue before they hang up.  They walk me through everything that I am questioning, and help me understand how the website works.  The website is very easy to follow and the many different things that are availbable to me as an employer, is important.  I am on Proliant at least once a day, chekcing to make sure things are up to date and correct for my employees.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

Sometimes the website is down for my employees to clock in, so I have to enter their time in manually.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help me with so many things when I am onboarding a new employee.  From E-verify to all the tax forms.  It stores all the information for all my employees, and it is one place!  They continue to help me with issues that arrise, and concerns that I have.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

Proliant is a very robust platform and we have been using it for awhile now for our HR records. It's been great for entry and record keeping and our staff that is less technically inclined that work with it the most have had very little issues with it. When I have reached out to their team for support, they have been very responsive and immediately set up meetings to help me figure out how to integrate their platform into other systems our IT uses in order to automate account creation from the point of entry of the employee into the payroll system. Our staff uses it daily for all of our HR related data entry for employees including record keeping, tax purposes and payroll items. It looks like it can do much more than what our team is using it for and as a result we are looking to migrate other smaller segmented systems to this in the future so all data is consolidated for easy access.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

The UI seems a bit cluttered or unorganized at points and it is unclear how easy it will be for us to fully declare what API data points we will need to pull into other systems.

I appreciate ProLiant for its ease of use, especially when it comes to inputting payroll information on a biweekly basis, which greatly simplifies my work process. Its capability to pull W-2s and previous direct deposit information is extremely useful, providing quick and efficient access to important financial data. The platform's automation of payroll tasks means I don't have to handle them manually, saving me considerable time and effort in managing payroll for the employees. This seamless process eliminates the need for manual intervention, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. I also find that the vast majority of the setup and operation aspects of ProLiant are easy to work with. Overall, I would rate my likelihood to recommend ProLiant a nine out of ten, reflecting my positive experience with its functionality and usability.

I think sometimes the representatives are delayed in responding.

It’s nice to be able to log into ProLiant and see all of our employee information in one place. We have a customer service rep who can support us with most requests, and they’ll guide us to the right person if they can’t help directly. Overall, ProLiant is very open to helping with any issues and concerns we have.

The training for Administrators feels a bit clunky. As a new HR employee, it isn’t easy to figure out the system, and there isn’t much training available to guide you. Because of that, you end up relying on the customer service rep for help.

It’s a place for employees to manage their own information. We’re able to process payroll, complete onboarding, and handle most of the employee life cycle.

I like that I have an account manager that I can contact when I have questions or need something corrected. The ease of implementation of the software is very easy and straight forward to use. 
The integration capabilities for entering the insurance deductions, 401K and HSA are an ease to manage.
ProLiant also takes care of the payroll taxes, which is one thing less I need to worry about.
I do not need to do anything for salary employees, once everything has been entered, and for hourly employees I just enter their hours. 
We use ProLiant twice a month, 24 paid periods
It is also simple to connect ProLiant to your phone to see the breakdown of your check.

At this time, I do not have any dislikes with ProLiant

The various modules: payroll, HR, document storage, benefits integration with our carriers, performance management and applicant tracking. Also, Proliant has an excellent customer service team. There is one main account representative, but the "My Team" page provides contact information for each module.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

Several modules are accessed through a 3rd party platform. It would be easier to navigate sometimes if ALL modules were internal to Proliant. For example, the ATS is through Clear Company and benefits administration is through Bswift.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously had separate tools for applicant tracking, a manual onboarding and performance management process and another payroll vendor. Proliant combines all of these into one platform, lessening the opportunity for errors, redundancy and lack of control over owned processes.

We were told they could do simple local taxes.  They cannot.  They state that there is a "bug" - no one at the company can provide a solution or even contact me regarding the fact that they cannot do local taxes.

ProLiant is very helpful with paying taxes, adjusting tax rates, making tax corrections, and processing payroll.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

When processing payroll, I wish there was a page that showed just the manual adjustments that you made each payroll. It can be hard to see the adjustments in the payroll register unless you check each person's adjustments. Additionally, I wish there were training sessions or videos that you could watch to teach those new to ProLiant how to use the system. Also, it would be nice if there was a way to track address changes. Once you change someone's address, you no longer have access to their old address. This makes it harder to fix mistakes or account for any errors. Lastly, I believe the reporting tool likely needs an upgrade as it is confusing and pulls duplicate lined data or does not pull data. This could likely be a user error but having new user videos or further assistance would be helpful.

We utilize ProLiant for assisting with payroll taxes and payments which is very helpful. We do also require assistance when making certain payroll adjustments and our account representative is very helpful in ensuring the corrections are done accurately.

**What do you like best about ProLiant?**

I really appreciate the incredible customer service offered by ProLiant. The support team is exceptionally responsive, and having a dedicated representative adds a personal touch that I've never experienced with other payroll vendors. This level of service is one of the main reasons I would consider choosing ProLiant again. Additionally, the ease of tracking temporary deductions like employee advances is a significant advantage, simplifying a previously cumbersome task. I find the document folders extremely useful, providing efficient organization and retrieval of essential information. The GL mapping feature is outstanding, and I'm grateful for our dedicated representative who helps swiftly address any issues we encounter. I am also impressed with how ProLiant stays ahead of the curve by keeping us informed about new legislation, especially in our tip-based industry where reporting and taxation of gratuities continually evolve.

**What do you dislike about ProLiant?**

I wish there were more canned reports in ProLiant. The current reporting options seem limited to me and expanding these would greatly enhance its utility.

**What problems is ProLiant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ProLiant to easily track temporary deductions like employee advances and benefit from their document folders and excellent customer service.
