"Awesome Performance, Great UX, and Top-Notch Telerik Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik?

I’ve been with Telerik since it launched. Progress feels like it’s all about “nickel & diming you to death,” and it’s clearly very different from what Telerik used to be. The Telerik support team goes above and beyond, and they’re much better than Syncfusion. I’ve recommended Telerik at every company I have been at (or kendo). The components are complete and well tested, and are WCAG compliant. But licensing was always an issue : stuff wont work, wont deploy, so any sort of upgrade was hell. Your product does not include AI / Intelligence as advertised, that an extra $2000, so a dissapointment. Its like buying a car only to fine the 4 wheels are optional extras. In general the Performance is awesome, the intergration is good and the UX are just perfect Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?

I dislike Progress and what feels like their asset-sweating approach. They say the product has AI, but it doesn’t—AI is a separate purchase, which comes across as paying again for something you thought you’d already bought. If they’re this upfront about it, it makes me wonder what else is going on in the areas you can’t see? Trust is becoming an issue. With the AJAX product it is getting a little over complicated(like it can do everything) but at the cost of one feature breaking another - thank god for chatGPT. The other huge issue is the Cost of Ownership. If you have 15 developers, and any one of them may touch a telerik bit of code - you want all 15 licensed even if they never touch the UI. A floating license would be an easier sell. Then its up to the senior/lead developer to do all the support calls. This makes the move to kendoui cheaper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
