I mostly used it for project and task management, and it was great. It is more like Microsoft Access. There are several apps available in their marketplace meeting almost all basic requirements. And it can be customized, map one to another. One can start using it immediately. **What do you dislike about Progress Podio?** UI remains mostly the same for all apps and data feeding. It takes some time to get used to it. If this can be customized by a few templates, app would be really really good. Adding a new field is a bit of a challenge. **What problems is Progress Podio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed something to track our projects. Projects were of short duration. Sometimes they had too much data to capture while some other time data was very less. Podio helped to capture them. And I could add tasks from anywhere, generate reports as needed. ### 3. It was being used for all our daily activities. - We can create custom apps using their simple drag-and-drop UI. - Include complex calculations and relations between different apps. - Organize the whole ecosystem around these apps and workspaces. This can be achieved by using Podio automation or advanced workflow automation. - Its price is very competitive. - Customer support is very helpful and available 24/7. **What do you dislike about Progress Podio?** - It can take some time to learn and understand its implementation. - Basic Podio is simple enough, but if you want to use it for automation between different apps with relationships, it can become a bit complex to configure and understand. - The product is missing new features. Compared to how its competitors are growing, Podio is not investing the same in innovation or research and development. - It can support more integration with external systems. **What problems is Progress Podio solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is an all-in-one product. There are a lot of technical limitations, when it comes to structuring your apps. For example, you need to duplicate a lot of your data across multiple apps if you want to use proper filters. You need to break a lot of data normalization design principles, which casues a lot of maintanince and slows down the system. **What problems is Progress Podio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Structuring our software to fit our business processes instead of changing our business processes to fit a predefined software. ### 10. The change in amount of time taken while managing tasks , assignment , tracking is quite noticeable. We could easily configure the automation process according to our need and the customer support is quite responsive and helped us sorting problem in integrating a particular app. overall in terms of value for money its a great choice uptil used softwares. **What do you dislike about Progress Podio?** in our usage of a year we find that calender is not working other than that we find no problems. **What problems is Progress Podio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it as task management , task assignment and customized automation for managing projects ,, it helped us reaching our deadline faster that we were previously using google sheets for in addition to excel . Now we can complete task faster efficient and have more revenue per month .
