I like how it's user-friendly and I do enjoy the compartmentalization and storage of information in dedicated parameter tables. I admire the collective efforts of your group to carry out the actions/ projects of our team. There have been a lot of hurdles since I became part of Cox but regardless your team has always been very receptive. **What do you dislike about Pricefx?** Currently, a significant pain point is data integrity. Both our teams are working diligently to ensure that data is being ingested and extracted accurately across platforms. In addition, since the transition into Hurricane, we've recognized a few functions we've lost that were present in our old OS. **What problems is Pricefx solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently PFX we're focusing on data ingestion so that we're able to continue with an update to the regression model. Once we're able to update the regression model we'll then collaborate to solution forward with the AI Model. An additional outstanding ticket relates to variances in CPT from Quote Configurator and Batch Pricing Tool. This would benefit the team so that we'll have confidence in the alignment of CPTs and RPs between to these two quoting features. ### 2. Pricefx is a great tool. Through interaction with Salesforce, we are able to use Quote Configurator to provide pricing and margin guidance and controls to the Sales Team. **What do you dislike about Pricefx?** With the amount of over 9 million records to process, there are occasional performance issues. For starts, as an example, the price list creation vs the market dynamism makes pricefx a helpfull tool on creating possible price list to help you decide the path to go into. Then, contracts/quotes gives you the capability to guideline your commercial team so they can follow with the accountability on workflow and hierarchies approval. Finally, the possibilities on analysing your data (not only from PriceFX but the data that you feed into PriceFX) via dashboards (make-your-own) is a real asset withdrawing you work on managing excel files and also giving the company access to your reports which ultimatly ends with a better pricing. **What do you dislike about Pricefx?** Regarding the tool, it has limits on programming (even if it's a blank canvas) like perfomance wise as also in not having full possibilities of java/groovy. About user friendly, it is, but still lacks some features at input and layout level. **Recommendations to others considering Pricefx:** In my experience and consider that we went into full planning and implementation during COVID (lockdown). I guess this constraint impacted what we could perceive as valid options and the pros and cons of those options, making us sometimes unable to notice future problems or limits when programming our business idea. This was caused because the teams (company and Price Fx) were not together planning and executing. It took time from both sides that could be a lot more efficient otherwise (the company team would have had a better understanding of the tool limits, and the Price Fx squad would have had a better comprehension of the business idea). Bottom line, time is essential, but do not start building your concept before an accurate and valid implementation idea. Agile is the new "bible" on project implementation (sometimes it will cost you time, moving back and forth). A bottom-up analysis needs to happen so you can be consistent. Everything is at quite a reasonable cost of design and implementation. Possibility to start as a stand alone solution - as a pilot, which already can deliver a lot of value. It helps to think about pricing processes that the company would like to implement, prepare some kind of draft of them and check how they work out in reality, without major risk or expenditures. **What do you dislike about Pricefx?** Many logics and functionalities are required to be designed from scratch and there are not too many of them being predefined. It is partly due to a large variety of applications in different companies, industry specific processes, but also (relatively low) maturity of the whole CPQ market. I would recommend to use external help (consulting company) to design the best use cases of the tool and draw a very general architecture together with IT team. **Recommendations to others considering Pricefx:** This is a CPQ tool that is worth considering at any pricing maturity stage. Its very helpful for the executive to approve the quotes while on the fly. Its really difficult as an admin to assign User roles and User Groups to the Pricefx user when the count is more than 100 users. UI can be more user friendly. Quote configuration can not be highly customized. There are limitations on adding and renaming columns on the Quote Configurator screen. We also have browser compatibility issue. In our organization, we use internet explorer a lot. Since unity does not support IE, We have to force users to switch to different browser to avoid performance hit.
