What do you like best about Prequel?

If you provide a B2B SaaS product it's likely your customers need product data in their own data warehouse. Instead of leaving it to our customers to piece this data together via exports or API calls, Prequel enables us to efficiently dump the data directly to the customer warehouse.

Customers love it. The Prequel model of data transfer is going to be industry standard in a few years.

The Prequel team has deep expertise when it comes to data warehouses. They're also very responsive to support and feature requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prequel?

In a way, by exposing data tables as a service, you're exposing a second API. This was the right decision for us and our customers - especially since they'd otherwise be creating these tables on their own - but it's worth thinking through the ramifications of maintaining the schemas, SLAs, etc around data transfer. What problems is Prequel solving and how is that benefiting you?

For us, it saves resources to not have to figure out how to support the many warehouses Prequel supports, and a suprising bonus is that we see less traffic load on our API because customers don't need to poll us.

For our customers as well, it saves resources not to have to poll our API, manually rip exports, or use an ill-suited ETL tool to get data to their Ops and Data Science teams. Selling to the Ops/Analytics/Data decision maker is an order of magnitude easier since we adopted Prequel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
