The main drawback is that sending money through Plooto takes a week (five business days) from the time it leaves our bank account to when it lands in the recipient’s account. I know Plooto Express is now available for expedited payments, which is helpful in a pinch, but the 0.50% fee can get expensive quickly—especially with some of the larger amounts we send.
