Jira meets Monday.com — in a really good way

I’ve worked with Jira and Monday.com for years, and Plane genuinely feels like it combines the best of both worlds.

It has the structure and flexibility I liked about Jira, but with the simplicity and clean experience I appreciated in Monday.com — without feeling overloaded.

What stands out most: Plane is powerful, intuitive and simply enjoyable to use. I spend less time managing the tool and more time actually managing the work.

Plane is evolving quickly, although the roadmap doesn’t always move quite at our pace. A few workflow details are still missing for us — for example, @mentions in page comments don’t yet trigger notifications, and work items created directly from a page aren’t automatically linked back to that page.
