I use weekly to change and check the shifts. **What do you dislike about Planday?** the payroll system is a bit tricky to implement while using xero. **What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?** it helps to keep track of the hours I worked as well as my colleagues. An easy way to swap or request shifts with the manager as well and handling the payroll system along with xero. ### 2. Way too much time spent trying to fix holiday, trying to work with their team to ensure it is fit for purpose, it simply isn't **What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was meant to solve holiday tracking and scheduling. It has mostly solved scheduling, albeit if holiday is added through the holiday account function, you then have to add a shift as holiday over the holiday on the shcedule for it to track properly for both payroll costs and submission into Xero. Double work for absolutely no reason. It was meant to solve holiday and it is quite literally doing the opposite. ### 3. Ease of use **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Norma W. | Payroll Administrator , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2022 **What do you like best about Planday?** Planday is a very easy system to learn, for staff and payroll capture. also very easy to change over to from a previous system with the support of the Planday team. **What do you dislike about Planday?** Some things like the summertime clock changing being a manual task for user is not ideal, also not being able to view all holiday accounts set up for staff without having to alter date ranges. **Recommendations to others considering Planday:** Planday is a very easy system to change to, and to use for both Administrators setting up schedules and Staff using for Time & Attendance. Also when used correctly it captures costs against budgets. The reports are mostly in pdf or excel making them ideal for filtering on whatever information you wish. The support team are very reactive and helpful with issues, and there is also online training videos to access and a chat with support. **What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instead of running a payroll by site (7 in total) I can run my payroll reports for all sites together for the 2 accounts. Excel reports mean easy adjusting for use ### 6. Not really straightforward and fast. **What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organizing the shifts and rotation patterns, interactive communication with employees, the team can be divided into groups by job skills so that shifts can be offered to the people within a certain time zone ( when you work globally it is amazing) ### 7. It will make rostering easier having this system in place couldn't do my job without it. **What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefits are staff having access to their shifts and any open shifts instantly. Being able to message staff and getting a quick response is great. ### 9. For example I need to send daily or weekly schedules every day, and I need to choose and pick those people I need. It would save some time if I have "my group" with preselected people and send it to that group. Another thing is approving times for some people. It is not easy to approve days when people are assigned to different departments, and they are under different team leaders. There are little tweaks that need to be done, but all in all program is very good. **What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?** Control of people's working times. Comunication thru messages. Sending schedules to them. Checking my own work times. Having information about all emploees in one place is one big benefit. ### 10.
