It is a very powerful 3D modeling and photogrammetry program. I've used it to create orthoimages, DEMs, and 3D models of archaeological sites and areas. It is relatively easy to use and allows you a good amount of control over parameters. If you are new to photogrammetry, Pix4D is easy to learn and has default settings that allow you to make high quality deliverables. Processes occur at intervals, so you are able to make modifications or pick up where you left off if you need to. One of the best features is the ability to easily add Ground Control Point data, drastically improving your model's accuracy. It is a desktop application and runs everything on your PC which I prefer over some of the cloud-based services. At the end of processing, it gives you a PDF with a report of your project.
