What do you dislike about Piano Analytics?

One of the biggest challenges for me is discoverability. Some KPIs, properties, or custom metrics can be difficult to find, especially in Data Query. In many cases, you need to know and enter the exact name to locate them. Features like stronger search capabilities or autocomplete would make navigation much easier.

I would also like to see a more user-friendly way to access and analyze tracking links. Currently, users often have to rely on Data Query and know exactly what they are looking for. A dedicated area for tracking links with simplified reporting would be especially helpful for occasional users, such as marketing colleagues who only use Piano for campaign analysis.

Another area for improvement is documentation. In environments with many custom KPIs and properties, understanding the underlying logic can be challenging, especially in long-standing implementations. Optional documentation requirements or built-in documentation fields for custom metrics and properties would greatly improve transparency and maintainability.

Finally, while this is largely a matter of personal preference, I preferred the previous interface design. The new design feels very clean and modern, but I find the older layout slightly easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
