What do you like best about PHPRunner?

PHPRunner has been our go-to platform for rapid application development for over 15 years and has consistently proven to be a reliable solution. Over time, our usage has evolved - from relying on PHPRunner for all aspects of web-based application development to leveraging it primarily for interface design, form generation, and overall project organization.

It excels in form development and event handling across applications. The interface is clean, intuitive, and continues to improve with each new release. PHPRunner is well-suited for a wide range of use cases, from single-database, single-purpose applications to large-scale, complex SaaS solutions. Its cross-platform support (Windows, Mac, and Linux) is a significant advantage; operating in a Linux-only environment, we value the flexibility to develop wherever and whenever needed. What do you dislike about PHPRunner?

While PHPRunner is a strong platform, there are opportunities for enhancement. Improved portability of application components between projects would be highly valuable - specifically, the ability to reuse events and form elements across multiple projects.

What problems is PHPRunner solving and how is that benefiting you?

Over the years, PHPRunner has enabled us to consolidate and replace a variety of disparate systems by developing tailored solutions in-house. Using PHPRunner, we have successfully replaced multiple third-party applications - including CRM, finance, and inventory systems - with a single, cohesive platform designed specifically for our operational needs.

This foundation has since been expanded into a SaaS offering that we provide to both new and existing customers. As a result, we have been able to adapt more effectively to evolving customer requirements and ongoing changes within our industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
