I really appreciate that People First doesn't demand much from the user. The structure is clear and I like that there are multiple routes to access the same screen, which is great for those of us who use systems differently each time. The implementation process was smoother than I expected, thanks to the project manager and specialists who guided us through it within a few months. Now, everyone can find what they need without needing additional help. I find the reporting views to be incredibly valuable because they consolidate headcount, absence, and recruitment status without needing to compile them separately. The approval workflow for recruitment requests and absence sign-off is very convenient, reaching me wherever I am rather than piling up on my desk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My one reservation concerns the pace of updates. Development is welcome, but I often open the system to approve recruitment requests and sign off absences, and finding a screen reshaped since I last looked at it gives me pause. The release notes are published and clear, but carving out time to read them between committee meetings is challenging. A short summary at first login after a release, focusing on screen changes relevant to me, would be more helpful. Ideally, having the option to defer interface changes until I've reviewed them would prevent surprises during approvals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
