What do you dislike about Pendo?

We aim to use Pendo to gather feedback our sales team receives from customers however the tool is currently only set up to use if you have the app in built into your website and have customers send feedback directly.

Bulk upload isn't usable as you can't upload to custom template.

Manual upload takes forever.

Having no control over what shows on your dashboard makes it useless

Would be great to save custom reports and to have more things pull into the report as since we can't do that, the data stored in pendo isn't of much use e.g. comments and multiple requesters

Would also be great to have more lists in the ticket requests that would allow us to filter requests down more. these should be able to be set up custom, not restricted.

Add SQL or the ability to filter for and/or on browse.

Remove restrictions on statuses, allow people to create their own with custom rules.

Make the platform more useable/intuative.

What do you like best about Pendo?

I like that Pendo makes it easy for us to understand how customers interact with products - for instance which features they use, how they navigate applications, where they drop of and so much more. This information is critical when improving our products to be user centric.

With this tool, it is always easy to know which features to add, identify new opportunities, and how we can encourage adoption by bettering user experience.

It comes with features that makes onboarding new customers easy - we can customize the journey through simple guidance and this ensures this see the value of the product.

What do you like best about Pendo?

I appreciate the custom coding options available in Pendo, which significantly enhance its flexibility and usability. These options are especially valuable when the standard, in-the-box solutions fall short, as they allow me to tailor the software precisely to meet our unique needs and overcome specific limitations of Pendo itself, thereby resolving issues and addressing constraints effectively. What do you dislike about Pendo?

I dislike the limitations in Pendo guides, as they do not offer as much guide metrics for dashboards, and new features cannot be copied across subscriptions. Additionally, Pendo's chat AI seems to replace the ability to create clear support tickets, and it fails to create tickets when there is a bug. There's also an issue where we need to tag an element on the page but point to a different element, particularly with embedded guides. What do you like best about Pendo?

What I like best about Pendo is how seamlessly it connects product usage analytics with in-app guidance. It’s a rare combination that lets us both understand user behavior and act on those insights directly in the platform. The ability to create targeted walkthroughs, onboarding flows, and feedback polls without engineering support has been a game-changer for helping users adopt new features and for training internal teams. I've also always been a bit intimidated by creating my own dashboards to monitor feature and product usage and identify knowledge gaps, but Pendo makes this extremely simple and easy to setup and their excellent UI helps make the process enjoyable. What do you dislike about Pendo?

Pendo is incredibly powerful, but some aspects of setup and organization can feel complex or disorganized, especially when managing multiple apps or large guide libraries. It takes some time to build a clean, scalable structure for tags, segments, and guides. That said, once it’s in place, the payoff is absolutely worth it. I'd love for Pendo to implement more options for organizing pages, features, dashboards, reports, guides, etc. Something like the ability to group things with sub-groups/folders or more ways to tag objects for simple filtering. What do you like best about Pendo?

The customer support team stands out as one of the best — they are prompt, patient, and consistently provide clear guidance whenever issues arise or clarification is needed.

Integration with Pendo was straightforward, especially for embedding product analytics and in-app guidance. While there’s a slight learning curve for new users, the platform becomes intuitive over time, and the setup process is largely self-serve after the initial stages.

One of the strongest features is the ability to create in-app guides and run NPS surveys without needing code deployments.

What do you dislike about Pendo?

The platform currently lacks robust in-app filtering and sorting options. This makes it harder to drill down into specific user segments or behaviors directly within the interface, adding friction to analysis workflows.

There’s no native feature to identify users who have opted out of NPS surveys. This limits visibility into survey engagement gaps and makes it difficult to understand the full response context.

What do you like best about Pendo?

What do you dislike about Pendo?

To track features, you need to manually tag them. While this isn't difficult, it does add an extra step whenever you release something new. What do you like best about Pendo?

Simple and easy to use analytics with great integration options allow us to get the data we need to make decisions.

Technical account management is a must. It costs you a little more but multiplies the value you get from Pendo. Our Technical Account Manager has become a core part of our team helping us to get the data we need, configure Pendo in the right way (which is an important consideration) and onboard new team members.

Guides. Pendo allows you to augment your users experience of your product by presenting targeted help, information and requests for information. Guides have helped us make a positive change in our users' experience.

Pendo Listen has become a real help to our team and the investment Pendo are making to give you a real 360 view of your users is really appreciated.

What do you dislike about Pendo?

There are some inconsistencies in the User Interface. Different parts of Pendo have slightly different controls and ways of doing things. This inconsistency can make onboarding harder, especially for less tech-savvy teams, than it needs to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pendo?

From client side event tracking to notifications. From the resource center to pin point survey segmentation all built into one product.

What do you dislike about Pendo?

What do you like best about Pendo?

I'm a heavy user of Guides, and the launch of embedded guides has been a game changer as well. Overall a great product that has helped us at Beekeeper with our Product Led growth efforts, and scaling certain initiatives quickly in an almost self-serve process without the dependence of engineering/product deployment. Once you master using the custom code block, anything is possible. And if you're looking to support, onboard, engage with your customers the Pendo Resource Center is a very versatile product, which now enables multiple teams across our org to recruit, support, and engage with our customers directly. What do you dislike about Pendo?

The lack of A/B testing out of the box for guides is currently one of the drawbacks, however I know that this is currently in Beta testing, and eager to get my hands on it. The verdict isn't out yet if this will work well for us, as we don't currently use Pendo as our main analytics tool.
