What do you like best about PDFsam Basic?

PDFsam is a straightforward, easy to use PDF tool that is used for merging, splitting, and extracting PDFs and its pages. It has a drag and drop interface with plenty of options. I only have a PDF reader installed but occassionally need some of these tools that readers simply do not have. PDFsam allows me to modify my PDFs without having to purchase more software. What do you dislike about PDFsam Basic?

Not much to dislike. Especially for a free program. The only other feature I wish it had was a way to convert PDF pages into an image like JPEG. But this can easily be done in GIMP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PDFsam Basic solving and how is that benefiting you?

Most of our staff only needs a PDF reader to accomplish most of their tasks. There are however times when a PDF needs editing. Purchasing a PDF editor would be pricey and a bit of overkill for its occassional use. PDFsam is free and easy to use. Making installation and training very easy. It has multiple task settings so you can really get a lot done in a quick and easy manner. We use to use online tool but that requires internet connection and concerns about privacy.
