What I like most about Payroll Partners is its unified workflow for multi-location payroll. It smoothly pulls time-and-attendance records and auto-calculates multi-state tax withholdings for our hourly and salaried staff. The employee self-service portal is great as it cuts down benefit-related support tickets and allows staff to update tax forms and view pay stubs on their own, reducing repetitive HR-payroll inquiries. The platform consolidates tax filing, benefits, and W-2 processing in one place, streamlining our bi-weekly runs by reducing manual data entry, especially for our multiple branches. Payroll Partners' custom ledger mapping is limited, and its QuickBooks sync occasionally misposts multi-branch payroll cost allocations, requiring me to manually adjust journal entries. It also lacks flexible native ACA reporting templates for our mixed hourly-salaried staff. I spend extra time compiling datasets to satisfy FLSA wage-hour rules and US GAAP accounting requirements each quarter. I'd like improved granular QuickBooks GL mapping to auto-allocate labor costs without manual adjustments, as well as native ACA 1095-C reporting templates and built-in wage-hour audit alerts for FLSA compliance. More customizable payroll exception notifications would help catch overtime or deduction errors early. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
