What do you like best about PayPal Checkout?

I really like how simple the overall checkout process is. In my experience, it feels seamlessly integrated with the business I used it with.

The UI is straightforward, and I can complete my purchase in just a few clicks since it already has my payment information from when I used PayPal in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PayPal Checkout?

Overall, the process is simple, and I’ve only run into two issues so far.

My main complaint is the initial login process to enable the PayPal Checkout feature. It asks for my PayPal password directly instead of using an integrated sign-in option (for example, a Google account login). Having that kind of integrated login would reduce friction, especially when you don’t immediately remember your password.

The second issue is that sometimes it auto-selects my debit card instead of using my available PayPal balance first and then covering the remaining amount with my card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PayPal Checkout solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think the main problem it solves is making it easy to avoid other payment platforms that aren’t very user-friendly. As I feel other platforms ask way too much personal information just to complete your payment, and you feel that your information is not properly secured.
