"Streamlined Supplier Validation and Self-Service Data Management"
5/5
What do you like best about PaymentWorks?

The biggest benefit for us is the supplier validation process. PaymentWorks helps us confirm the supplier’s identity, verify their banking information, and flag potential compliance concerns, including screening against applicable lists. I also really like that the supplier is responsible for entering and maintaining their own information, rather than us pulling details from a W-9 and manually keying everything into our system. It shifts the dynamic from “we received a W-9 and entered the information” to “the supplier provided and validated their information, and we have a process to verify it.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PaymentWorks?

The biggest challenges we’ve encountered relate to certain banking validation processes. Nonprofit organizations, in particular, can be difficult to validate when they don’t have a publicly listed phone number, and we sometimes run into problems when the person who originally entered the supplier information is no longer with the organization.

Foreign supplier banking can be challenging as well, especially when local banking practices and required documentation differ from what we’re accustomed to in the U.S. In those cases, we often need additional follow-up, and the onboarding process can end up taking longer than we’d like.
