**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I really appreciate the support and ease of use Paylocity offers. It improves efficiency significantly, and the initial setup was very easy and supportive.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

The reporting could be more customized on the user side without having to request from Paylocity. Maybe the clock in, clock out option has too many options with 'break' and lunch.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paylocity solves everything HR related, mostly documentation. It improves efficiency with its support and ease of use.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

Very easy to navigate and the integration with almost any platform especially with LinkedIn is super helpful. The system is pretty fast, and price is very reasonable when it comes to wanting to add in certain items.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

Overall what i dislike about Paylocity is limited knowledge base, especially if you have specific questions or need a step by step process.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it comes to compensation, it is helping us provide on the spot data. Being able to go to Paylocity instead of using a third party has helped out tremendously.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

The actual payroll processing is definitely an improvement over ADP.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

Their system allows duplicate Social Security numbers to be entered or onboarded, which has caused a lot of issues for our company. There are also a few other areas in the system that don’t “talk” to each other, so information doesn’t always carry over as it should.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We chose Paylocity in 2025 so we could keep all our systems under one company. Onboarding is now a direct feed into our Tracks system at our stores, which has been very helpful.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I like that Paylocity has simplified the payroll process, and I find it fairly easy to use overall. I also like that implementation was extremely easy. I appreciate that they are constantly upgrading the system and making sure we are compliant with new legislation.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

I’m not a fan of having my customer support contact changed every six months, and sometimes even more often than that. Integrated 401k took forever and still does not completely work accurately. I still have not been able to get our evaluations to work correctly in Paylocity. It took months and months of me asking for help. Then a lot of rejections and "the system can't do that" until I finally found an escalated person that could assist.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The payroll process is much easier and faster than it was with our previous HRIS, which has been a huge time-saver for us.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I use Paylocity as an HRIS and Payroll system. I like that it helped us consolidate a few systems into one by combining multiple features we needed. It has a wealth of systems and features that every company needs to provide to its employees. I appreciate that employees can check paystubs, time off, and W-2s from the mobile app, making it easy to navigate and utilize. Part-time employees can also clock in and out easily from the app. Additionally, I needed Paylocity's additional features like an ATS, survey creation for pulse checks, and better payroll functionality.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

The Paylocity website's user interface is a bit hard to navigate due to the many features, and it takes time to find certain functions. The admin navigation on the back end is particularly difficult, and finding settings that should be obvious can be frustrating. The initial setup was very difficult; even though the implementation team assisted, the answers provided for policies and setups were often implemented incorrectly, requiring us to redo a lot of the work.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paylocity consolidates multiple systems into one, making HR and payroll management simpler. Employees easily access paystubs, time off, and W-2s through the mobile app, while part-timers can clock in and out effortlessly.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

The Paylocity platform has been outstanding; it has significantly improved efficiency within our HRIS process with the workflows, data insights, and reduced paper-based tasks with the onboarding and recruiting modules. We attempted to use other platforms and ended up coming back to Paylocity, it was truly the best HRIS for our company's needs. From consultation to development and implementation,and going live, the process was easy to follow.  In addition, it is an easy platform that has supported our employees for self-service needs.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

An area of improvement for Paylocity is their enhancements; while updates and new features are implemented regularly, they are not always regularly or frequently communicated to all users.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paylocity is helping us streamline recruiting process focusing in our skill based needs by offering a various of tools in the recruting module. Onboarding has never been so easy.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I really like the real-time communication with candidates via direct text messaging on Grayscale as it's very efficient and improves engagement. Its easy-to-use interface is a plus for me. The mobile texting feature is a game changer for recruiters on the go, and the Chrome extension integration with Greenhouse simplifies workflows. I appreciate how automation and shared visibility in Grayscale enhance teamwork and consistency.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

Basically, the message character limit feels restrictive for detailed communication. No keyboard shortcut to send messages makes texting a bit slower, I would say. Importing candidate list is time-consuming. Lack of group chat or bulk message features. Lack of ability to receive media, for example, photos and messages.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grayscale for real-time communication via SMS/MMS with candidates. It improves communication efficiency, saves time with instant responses, and enhances candidate engagement through seamless texting. Automation ensures consistent follow-ups without manual effort, boosting overall efficiency for recruitment.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I love that Paylocity truly molds to an organization's needs and accurately sets the system up to match the pace and needs of the business. I appreciate the one-on-one meetings during implementation and the chat and AI assistant in the platform for help. The community tool is wonderful for building culture and bringing employees into the fold of the organization. The payroll feature is excellent for centralizing tax forms and updating salaries when necessary, and being able to create forms and send them out for signature within the system has been incredibly rewarding for policy acknowledgements and compliance.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

Some processes still need configuration which are time-consuming such as payroll funding and custom workflows. Reporting can also be tedious without previous experience. The platform could be improved by simplifying multi-step processes, offering more guided implementation tools for multicompany users, and enhancing reporting usability. The initial setup was also tedious.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paylocity to centralize HR processes, eliminating multiple systems. It reduces administrative burden and errors, improves compliance, and supports organizational culture. Features like payroll processing, document management, and the community tool enhance overall HR efficiency and employee engagement.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I like how Paylocity makes submitting payroll easy and takes care of the monthly and quarterly taxes. I really like the HR platform and payroll side of Paylocity, as the HR platform allows for everything to be stored in one place and is fairly user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

I'm really frustrated with Paylocity's time and attendance features. Time and attendance don't work well for me at all; nothing maps correctly during setup, and the team couldn't build the necessary pay codes for staff. This means I have to go in and make amendments every payroll. Also, the initial setup was not easy, and Paylocity couldn't accommodate many of the different pay codes we needed.

I truly appreciate how easy Paylocity is to use, as well as the wide range of products available for me to explore and learn from. The new AI assistant has been a fantastic addition, and the Paylocity support team continues to impress me with their excellent service.

I honestly can't think of any downsides. I've been using this product since July of this year and haven't found anything to complain about.

Paylocity has made payroll and onboarding straightforward and user-friendly for me. As someone new to this software, I appreciated the wide range of instructional resources and webinars available, which helped me quickly become comfortable with using Paylocity. The platform also simplifies tax processes, timekeeping, and managing paid time off accruals.

I appreciate all of the integrations that Paylocity offers. It makes Payroll much easier to run. We have cut out a lot of manual processes that we had to manage on our previous HRIS.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

The reporting function is antiquated and sometimes difficult to use. We have a hard time finding even the simplest reports because most of the reports are so convoluted.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paylocity has helped us cut out a lot of our manual processes that we had to manage on our previous HRIS. The recruiting/onboarding process is seamless now.

The response times to questions or issues. There have been times is has been immediate but I have always received a response within 24 hours. With another HRIS system the responses were non-existent with the account manager changing every week almost. Great service is not only critical but gives me confidence I can depend on them to help me get things done.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

That I have to have them update PTO rules, but I appreciate the throughness.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting requirements - to raise the bar in our department it was really important for us to include more metrics and the reports are phenomenal for that and very robust.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I'm typically able to get customer support fairly easily. I appreciate that they are always trying to come out with new features and improve. My experience with their customer support, specifically for the benefits like FSA, HSA, and COBRA, has been really excellent, prompt, and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

While I'm able to get someone via customer support pretty easily, it's always someone different. I would love to have a person assigned to us that knows our company and can be the consistent person to help me with issues. There have been times where I've been given that type of a person before, but it's very few and far between. And, typically, it doesn't last for a while. So instead, I get very inconsistent support and different types of knowledge, and especially when I have an issue that spans their different departments, like tax versus service versus payroll, they don't work well together, and I'm the one who has to work with these different departments at Paylocity. And it can be very difficult and confusing. I've had a few different issues over the years that have lasted a very long time because it's very hard to get things resolved. The problem with our initial setup was that I didn't know what questions to ask because I'd never used the system before, and there were many issues that we discovered later on from our integration that were really difficult to fix. There were things that I wish I would have known because I would have been able to clarify those and make sure things were set up correctly from the beginning.

I use Paylocity to run payroll, manage performance reviews, ensure compliance with state filing, and assist with hiring.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I love the interface design of Paylocity, which makes it visually appealing and user-friendly. I also appreciate the easy access to running which simplifies my tasks. Additionally, I love the look and operation of the time and labor features, as they provide an effective process for payroll processing. Running time and labor reports is seamless, and I'm able to create batches timely without any issues. This efficiency really impacts my processes positively. I also love the KB articles. The articles are easily accessible and provide how-to or education, making reaching out to customer support the last resort.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

Creating ad hoc reports can sometimes be a little challenging. There aren't a lot of user-friendly instructions on how to create an ad hoc report. Also, any type of updates in the system Paylocity needs to be more proactive when it comes to communicating that information to clients. Any type of system issues or bugs that Paylocity runs into when it comes to the system needs to be reported or communicated to their clients. There is sometimes a delay on the results of changes on a report because the report does not update in real-time.

I use Paylocity for HR transactions, updates, payroll, and reporting. It streamlines payroll processing, making it more effective. I love the interface design and navigation of the system.

Paylocity has a lot of features that make my life easier in HR - I have recently added Expense Reimbursements, which has helped my Accounting Team as well.

Sometimes it is difficult for me to get across my question/need to customer service - they don't quite understand what I'm asking.

Tax forms and historic payroll information are a huge plus for both our current employees and our past employees so they can access important documents regardless of their employment status with us. 

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

Settings seem a bit meticulous to get right. Most everyone here has a different way they're able to clock in/out which can be a bit confusing, but not a huge deal.

**Recommendations to others considering Paylocity:**

We have thoroughly enjoyed this platform, and would choose it again time after time!

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I use Paylocity for my payroll and HR edge, and I love it because it helps me with my business. I like being able to communicate with them throughout the day at different times since I am in California. As a business owner, it's nice because we don't always have time during the day. This helps me to be able to respond to employees quickly and efficiently. I also feel that I am able to make decisions and know that I’m doing what is right with HR edge.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

The things that don’t work well is trying to figure it all out yourself and do it yourself sometimes. It’s hard because you just kinda get in there to get things going and you’re not sure what you’re doing, even though there was an onboarding call. It wasn’t enough; different situations arise during different times. There’s different things that I have to go in there under payroll and not knowing how to do it. Yes, I call the 1-800 number and there’s a support team that’s there to help, but sometimes I did get once that they told me that you’re supposed to do it yourself. This is a do-it-yourself program that you have. I told the person oh, I was never explained that at the point of sale. Paylocity needs to explain that I’m paying that but it’s a self-service platform where I have to do it all.

I use Paylocity for payroll and HR edge, enabling me to make informed decisions. It allows me to communicate anytime, responding to employees quickly and efficiently, which is essential for managing my business and HR tasks effectively.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I like that Paylocity allows us to streamline our processes by having everything under one system. We started utilizing the health training aspect under learning, which has been huge for us. Previously, we used three or four platforms, but now we can track what trainings our employees have completed and plan additional training. This setup enables our team to engage in training on their own time and flexibility, which has been positively viewed.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

I think Paylocity could improve by allowing more visibility for team members, so I don't have to send emails for every item that I'm adjusting.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paylocity to streamline our HR system, documenting learning, development, and compliance. It alleviates the pain of being a one-team HR, allowing me to focus time effectively and enabling supervisors with simple training flexibility. I like that Paylocity is very user-friendly. It offers a wide range of modules that make HR tasks more productive and easier to manage. Paylocity also excels in its integrations with Fidelity for our 401(k) and Travelers Insurance, as everything needed is sent biweekly without any issues. Additionally, the integration with Employee Navigator for our benefits ensures that information is updated accurately, reducing manual work.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

I feel that the home feature was advertised as a big change, but in reality, it wasn't since we were already using self-service and the feature were there too. I preferred how employees were able to find their accruals and PTO requests more easily through the self-service,

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I like how Paylocity makes payroll tax accounting much easier and has a nice user interface for both employees and employers. I also appreciate the user interface and access to resources. The resources are easy to understand and cover tons of topics, which is really helpful when maintaining or updating certain processes, especially with payroll taxes. The initial setup was pretty easy, and the team was very helpful with onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

I am not the biggest fan of our account service manager. They are not as clued in to the details and specifics of our accounts and just don't seem that knowledgeable. I'd prefer to work with someone who directly files our returns and has more of a hands-on role with our account management.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

I love that Paylocity is very user-friendly for our employees to navigate. Our employees are not tech-savvy, and we have a lot of older employees, so having a mobile-friendly app that is intuitive is helpful to reduce time spent on navigating the site. I find the benefit portion of the software robust and helpful. Paylocity integrates with our payroll software, taking care of manual changes and 1095-C forms, which is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

It's very hard to be able to get someone on the phone to help. All implementation managers suck at communicating. Sometimes things are better conveyed over the phone and it feels like no one has a direct line or a phone line. For example, I am submitting payroll right now and need assistance before I submit, I've been on hold for 21 minutes and counting trying to get assistance. Not easy, on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the easiest and 10 being the most difficult I'd rate it a 7.5.

With Paylocity, our staff can go to one place to access their time, log time off, see paychecks and W2s, and have a quick reference page to access other websites the company uses. It used to be great customer support too, but that is not the case anymore.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

How hard it is to get through to Customer Support or get specialized assistance. Customer support has really taken a turn for the worse.  I've had to wait for answers to important questions because of the very long wait times. This has caused huge problems when trying to get answers to payroll processing issues and the like. Also, the time to get answers back related to tax issues or notices we have received, is also ridiculously long. Many times, a quick phone call could resolve an issue/question but customer service will not call customers, yet we are having to wait on hold for upwards of an hour to get through to a person, only to be put on hold again. Getting anything done AFTER the set-up is nearly impossible.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paylocity for payroll processing, tax payment assistance, housing employee info, and sending HR communications. My staff access their paychecks, time, and company websites from one place, making it convenient.

As a small business we like that Paylocity offers lots of functions that help us streamline our processes (HR, Hiring, We recently implemented the PTO feature so that employees are able to request PTO and are able to see how much PTO is remaining. It has made expense reports so much easier as 70% of our staff works remotely from other states.

I love the ease of use with Paylocity, as it was a breeze to pick up as a new user, and I feel confident that my employees and managers can navigate it themselves. The implementation was straightforward and simple. I am really impressed with how Paylocity is a huge time saver for our HR team, especially with its ability to shoot out job listings to over 50 job boards automatically. The dynamic reporting in recruitment helps us track candidate origins, time to fill positions, and team response times effectively. I appreciate the candidate tracking system, which makes collaboration with peers easy by allowing us to leave comments, add tags, and change employee statuses. With such a large, spread-out team, its clarity and collaboration-friendly environment are incredibly helpful. Paylocity also offers a great work authorization dashboard for tracking status and auditing I-9 compliance, alongside a skills and certifications dashboard that is crucial for managing food handler and responsible beverage service certificates.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

I find it rather difficult to assign, edit, or complete trainings with over 500 employees in Paylocity. I'm often limited with auto-assignments by onboarding packet when I need things like 'preferred language,' 'job title,' etc. When I have to withdraw three different trainings from an employee's transcript, I have to leave her transcript and open the training results of one of the trainings. Then I have to search for her, rescind, and repeat this for every single training. I'm used to being able to edit transcripts from the employee in one fell swoop.

Paylocity is a huge time saver, handling job listings and dynamic recruitment reports seamlessly. I enjoy its ease of use and collaborative candidate tracking. It helps track certifications and I-9 compliance efficiently.

This tool tries to automate HR workflows, but I find it quite clumsy. However, it does manage to work at times.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

The implementation process has been a complete disaster. The employees seem poorly trained and are so narrowly focused that they lack a real understanding of the subject matter. They appear to have no grasp of how the system is actually used in practice. I can't even obtain basic information, such as which fields are available. The training consists of watching a video and reading an article that often doesn't apply and is frequently outdated. When I have questions, I'm told to wait until the next week's meeting, where I have just one hour to get answers. We ended up delaying our initial live payroll four times. There is no real consulting available, as the employees themselves don't seem to understand their own system. It's astonishing that one of the largest HR systems can operate this way—it truly boggles the mind!

I like that Paylocity is constantly improving their system. It's good to have an integrated ATS and HRIS system that hosts multiple companies. Recently, they made interview scheduling much more streamlined, and I find the templated emails and texts really great.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

Having multiple of our companies in Paylocity doesn't work great. In the recruiting module, when you make notes on a candidate, it doesn't update for their other profiles if they've applied to multiple jobs, it doesn't combine profiles for the same candidate. It allows for multiple applications to the same job for one person. You can't assign tasks for other team members, so you have to pair it with outside project management software. Their emails are often blocked by spam filters. Their customer support isn't excellent. Adding new companies is a pain, and not all functionality works. We might need to reimplement since so many things don't work properly for the company set profile.

I find it helpful to have an integrated ATS and HRIS system with Paylocity, and I appreciate their improvements like streamlined interview scheduling with templated emails and texts.

I like the workflows feature in Paylocity. With a smaller HR department, automating processes helps free up our time to focus on more important matters. The reports are also good, though I would like to see more if/then features.

I don't think Paylocity solves problems for us; it's more of a tool for recordkeeping. The report writer tool is awful to use, so we rely on dynamic reports, but there's not much customization available. I find the workflow automations lacking; we need more conditions to choose from and an OR feature. Also, I need more than 3 cost center options. The initial setup was a mess. I joined after implementation and had to spend my first year cleaning up from it. Compared to my past projects with UltiPro, Kronos Workforce Ready, and SAP, the Paylocity implementation was the worst I've seen in my career.

The initial setup was so easy, even on a short time frame, with weekly meetings that showed the team truly cared about our progress.

I think the only part that has at all been frustrating for me is being a salary admin, I haven't gotten to use the app the way my hourly employees will. I also joined at the very last minute to be ready to start using Paylocity at the start of the new year, so training was crunch time. I have no doubt that given more time, I will find trainings online to help me feel more confident to train my employees on using the new software. That part will just take time to complete since I don't have the same access to the time clock to get hands-on practice.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

The product is very easy to use.  I have had zero issues with the site being down and the employees really enjoy the app experience (it is only one app ... unlike competitors where we used to have to deal with "you downloaded the wrong XYZ app").

I am in the product every day almost all day.  It really is refreshing to not have to deal with site connectivity issues.  The implementation was very smooth.  Honestly one of the 1st implementations where the vendor actually did the bulk of the work.  I am use to getting a lot of data myself and converting.  Paylocity took care of most of that for me!

My customer support rep is quick to respond.  In the event they are not available, Paylocity's support model allows for other members of my reps team to step in.  

We use the API functionality for in house system integration and I find their SFTP process very easy to use (for those vendors that still requite it!)

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

While still a great experience, I wish the reporting writer tool was a bit more configurable.  I am use to writing within SQL and am familiar more with those sort of reporting tools.  As is, I find myself often creating a report and then having to manipulate within Excel

I like the potential it offers; even though we don't utilize everything, every time we are ready to take on a new task, Paylocity is ready for us. The self-service portal is a favorite because our employees use it daily, which saves us a lot of time from having to manually grab everything for them. The initial setup was good and quick too.

Sometimes the communication from our account rep could be better. It is rare that we speak with the account rep. I am not sure what could be better with it. Maybe having direct contact to the email instead of service at Paylocity.

The screens are user friendly and once you learn the ins and outs of the system it is easy to navigate as a manager and/or an administrator.  Paylocity was definitely an upgrade from our prior HRIS.  It is easy to get assistance when you call into to their support line.  They also make the open enrollment process easy by partnering you with a benefits specialist.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

We had some growing pains when we first started with Paylocity, but some of that was just a learning curve.  And the other issues were due to a misunderstanding of how Paylocity processes certain items.  Once we got past the issues, working with Paylocity has been much easier.

Combining the ATS into the HRIS is a big plus.  It makes the offer and onboarding process seamless.  We have also been able to automate our annual performance review and pay increase process.  It is also helpful to have one place to track one-on-one meetings, goals, and document acknowledgements.

We formerly used QuickBooks Desktop for payroll and it could not manage our involved paid time off scenarios. I was very hesitant to trust that Paylocity could create a payroll journal entry that would work for our class accounting because other payroll companies promise they can but cannot. I'm glad I finally took the step and transitioned to Paylocity more than a year ago. The implementation was smooth and the journal entries are perfect.

The Paylocity platform is user-friendly and straightforward to navigate.  We started with Paylocity over 10 years ago with a very smooth implementation process. Our team was exceptional to work with. We utilize the Time and Attendance feature on a daily basis, which has been especially helpful for our managers and employees by streamlining processes, while the HR and Payroll module has made bi-weekly payroll processing much simpler. The system offers a wide range of reporting options, allowing us to generate reports automatically or on demand. We have also implemented the Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, and Compensation modules, all of which have contributed to greater efficiency in managing recruitment, onboarding, and employee performance. When needed, we are able to reach out to our account manager or customer service for support questions. We not always get the same dedicated person but one that is knowledgeable to help us with questions. Paylocity stands out as an innovative company that continually seeks new ways to support HR professionals in retaining and engaging employees. We highly recommend considering Paylocity as an HR platform solution.

We’re currently in the implementation process, and our team—led by Marc, Meredith, Rose, Carmen, and Phillip—has been by our side every step of the way.  We are in the midst of OE and had an active enrollment, which is new for our team.  The OE process was very user friendly for our employees.

Some items on our wish list weren’t fully understood by the sales team, and they either weren’t available or weren’t easy to implement.

I like how easy it is to choose and print the kind of report I need. Paylocity offers a better setup compared to the previous product we used, Reynolds. I rate it a 10 out of 10 and would recommend it as it's a way better setup.

Time off requests are sometimes inaccurate, leading to employees calling us to fix the amounts, which requires us to manually go in and correct them. It was also a little getting used to at first.

I really like the flexibility of Paylocity. It has a lot of features, and many of these features are customizable. I enjoy that I can customize features to fit our business needs, especially since we have different business avenues. Paylocity allows us to create custom fields to fit our requirements, like custom fields in employee records, which we can run reports on, such as payroll reports and timeline reports by location. This is one of the benefits that we truly appreciate about Paylocity.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

I find that some reports have limited restrictions with customizing, which can be a bit of a hassle. It's also frustrating that Time and Labor and Payroll don't talk to each other at times. For example, we have to input a location and time for labor for each employee, and we have over 400 employees, which is quite time-consuming. While in Payroll, the location is already identified. This redundancy leads to more manual data entry and increases the chance of errors.

I use Paylocity for payroll, expense tracking, reporting, and job costing. It stores employee records and medical information which helps with compliance. Custom reports in Paylocity solve issues like cross-referencing and creating OSHA reports. I like its flexibility to customize features to fit our business needs.

The system is very clunky and inconsistent, at times features work as expected, and at other times they do not. Reports and functionalities are occasionally removed or added without prior notice to users, which creates confusion and disrupts workflows.

For example, automatic overtime reports were sent to our managers without warning, causing frustration. When we contacted support, no one on the service team was able to explain how to disable the reports. Additionally, some features do not function as intended; for instance, attempting to download a performance review as a PDF often fails to generate the file.

Convenient as a one-stop platform that eliminated the need to manage multiple HRIS platforms.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

The site is both user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate. I also appreciate the excellent customer service. Whenever I try something new or have questions, I can typically find the resources I need on my own. On the occasions when I do need to contact customer service, the experience is always very positive. Everyone I have spoken with has been helpful, polite, and appears to be very knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

The implementation process had its challenges at first. However, once everything was set up and operational, things began to run more smoothly. From my perspective, the implementation consultant we worked with in 2023 was just stretched too thin, handling too many clients simultaneously. It appeared that the main issue was related to staffing rather than anything else.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistency and accuracy are key. It gives me peace of mind knowing that payroll is processed smoothly and without any problems.

**What do you like best about Paylocity?**

The reports section is pretty to use.  In some areas, it's better than iSolved but it's not what we thought it would be.

**What do you dislike about Paylocity?**

We are having issues with getting a good customer service rep who is knowledgeable.  Before we chose Paylocity, we asked about the training module in depth and after we chose them, we were told it would cost $10K to get the 'enhanced' version.  We were totally misled.  Also - our implementation specialist didn't set us up as a government contractor so we didn't have access to some reports we need.  We converted to Paylocity because it was touted how much govcon's you work with.  There is a lot of disconnect between our custome service rep, and benefits too.

**What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have an answer for this at this point.  I don't know how Paylocity is benefitting us yet.
