What do you like best about Paycor?

I really enjoy how we've been able to embed our own frames of reference into 7Geese - namely, adding our Convexity culture framework into the Recognitions feature so that we can call team members out for being great examples of Convexity success. I also find almost every feature to be intuitive and therefore easy to roll out to our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

If I had to point to something that I'd love to see 7Gees improve upon over the next year, it would be how past reviews & 1:1 topics resurface in future templates. Right now, most quarterly reviews feel quite isolated from context, and we haven't found the 1:1 feature to be smooth enough to adopt it as a team. This means that often times, quarterly review feedback only comes back into discussion during the next quarterly review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Paycor:

Take your time rolling out various components of 7Geese. We tried to roll out the whole product at the beginning of the year, and the internal friction was too much so we postponed the roll-out of the OKRs feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?

The killer feature for me is how I can recognize my team's accomplishments and elevate their success to be visible to the whole company. I have recurring reminders to make sure that I take a step back and think about what I'm impressed by in my team and call out team members for it. I am constantly surprised at how unexpected recognition is from team members, even outside of my department, and how it improves the quality of interactions going forward.
