The only thing that I dislike about Paycom is that some stuff might not be as accessible, such as checking work hours.

The system is fast, intelligently designed and makes dealing with payroll and time a breeze. I appreciate the reminders, as it keeps us inline with our accounting team and is a real great tool.

I do not necessarily have any negatives. I have used many systems over the years and this one is my favorite.

Time is precious and if I can get in and get out while getting everything I need done then I think thats a good thing.

This app is very intuitive making it easy to use. Each update has made Paycom more effective and useful. The time management features are top of the line, the application is always fast and smoothly functioning.

Paycom makes it easier to attract more qualified talent from the moment they create a candidate profile to the day they onoard and every step in between.  Customer support is always responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The Talent screen can be a bit clunky; we often have to click backwards several screens to return to a task. Hyperlinks would be great.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before moving to the Talent Management platform, we didn’t have a dedicated process for job ads, scheduling, résumé review, or candidate management. This system has streamlined our workflow, improved the quality of our applicant pool, and reduced our time-to-fill by nearly 60%.

Everything on the site is user friendly. I can log in and view my pay checks and available PTO pretty easily. I can also submit requests and view any documents that I have previously received from HR. I also like that there is an app that I can use from my phone.

I have no come across any issues at this time.

How much my check will be and when it will arrive. How much PTO I have available and when I have used hours previously.

I can log in anytime and anywhere, and I really love how convenient that is.

Sometimes I notice my colleagues struggling to access documents on their phones, and they end up having to go to a computer just to open them.

Going paperless has made it much easier for me to access things quickly and more readily. Everything feels more centralized now, which helps me stay organized and find what I need without digging through paperwork.

There are some basic parts of Paycom that I feel could be improved to be useful while working. Rather than just a information/time. Such as integrating with companies that use programs such as tickets or tags for a mobile computer and such.

Easier time management, using on the app rather than having to punch in a code and patiently waiting to clock in or out

I like the ease of use for timekeeping from the employee standpoint. From the HR standpoint I really like the OSHA reporting feature and that it does all the tedious counting of time lost, and the ease of knowing the report was done correctly.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

It would be really helpful if there was an employee health feature that kept record of required immunizations and could send reminder emails to employees who are out of compliance.

Helping ensure compliance with OSHA reporting and record keeping.

I dislike the way the punch change request works. It auto sets to "AM" sometimes for me.

It is solving the ease of clocking in and out, and not using a traditional wall mounted clock in device.

Paycom is user friendly and I appreciate having my payroll, PTO and tax information in one location.  It's an easy app to use for basic tasks. I appreciate the email letting me when when my check is ready to view/approve and when I forget to clock in or out.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Sometimes there are minor glitches and inconsistences with hours and approvals. The excessive reminder emails when I forget to clock in/or can be a lot; one reminder email is enough.

None at this time.

Paycom allows me to quickly see and compare my check stubs over time, and to have information about my benefits available at any time.

If I misplace my password, it's impossible to reset it through the prompts within Paycom, and I have to contact HR to handle it — this is mostly just a frustration that I encountered early in my use of the platform.

Paycom provides a solution for me to manage my pay, benefits, and time off at my organization.

I love Paycom for its user-friendly interface, which significantly simplifies my tasks and reduces the time required for payroll processing from two days to just two hours. The automation of numerous processes ensures efficiency and prevents oversights. The customer service is outstanding, characterized by proactive and continuous support, ensuring smooth operation of the program. Even though assistance is rarely needed due to the system's robustness, their readiness to help is always comforting. The assistance during the initial setup was exceptional as well, with an implementation team that is easy to work with and provides on-site training, enhancing our transition to Paycom. Overall, Paycom comprehensively meets all my HR and payroll needs, eliminating the necessity to integrate it with any other software.

I think everything is great!  If anything, there are certain features that can be overwhelming at first because it's very customizable.

The ease of finding what I need and accomplishing what I need to do.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The mileage section is tricky for me.  I wish it would allow me to keep things sorted the way I had them (for instance descending order) when I have to navigate away from the page to submit mileage and go back to where I was originally rather than re-sort each time.

1. A dedicated, boots-on-the-ground support person! Shout out to Makayla!
2. instructional videos ( I am a new user)
3. Honesty - there are a few things that could be more user-friendly and Paycom owns their shortcomings.
4. Updates rolled out all the time!

1. The landing page for admins could be cleaner, no place to save favorite tabs, or the most common tabs.
2. New AI tool is ok, but not really AI yet.  It just spits back information that might be two mouseclicks away.  I am waiting for AI support for using the system AND for running reports.  I would pay double to have that functionality.
3. LMS gets a 5/10, need more updated content.
4. Global payroll would allow us to keep Paycom as a partner, Europe to start would be nice.

We are still working out the complexities of Positions and Seats so we can more adequately run our metircs for turnover, days to fill, plottting retention etc.

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I appreciate how user-friendly Paycom is, which facilitates everyday tasks for managers and myself. The convenience of having all our applicants consolidated in the Applicant Tracking feature is invaluable. I also value the efficient customer service; the fact that issues are often resolved on the first call, and for non-urgent matters, responses typically arrive within a day or two. The helpfulness of our Client Representative in setting up and training, particularly with the new scheduling module, stands out. The scheduling module itself is beneficial as it centralizes department schedules while allowing employees to manage their shifts and view their schedules at their convenience. Lastly, the implementation process was exceptionally smooth, guided by knowledgeable specialists who provided a clear roadmap, making the arduous process of switching payroll providers manageable. I still recommend Paycom despite recent price increases due to the outstanding customer service and ease of use that truly reflect the system’s quality.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I find that due to their rapid growth, some customer service representatives at Paycom are new and inexperienced. This occasionally results in receiving different answers for the same queries, which can be confusing and frustrating. Additionally, I am not satisfied with the mandatory upgrades to new platforms, especially since these come with higher prices, even when the old platform suited our needs well.

I find Paycom user-friendly for applicant tracking, onboarding, and scheduling, keeping all data centralized. It simplifies payroll and enhances shift management while providing reliable customer service, ensuring issues are resolved swiftly.

I like that Paycom is user-friendly in that you can get into benefits enrollment, payroll, HR, etc. with ease.

The only area that I dislike is that sometimes I am unable to select the meal-break waiver, like it doesn't give me the option. It may be a user error, but  I'm not sure.

Paycom is helping me with comparing benefit packages (medical, dental, and vision), as well as checking my to-do documents, reminding me if I forget to clock in or out, and much more.

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I really appreciate Paycom for its detailed real-time reporting, which allows our non-profit organization to track labor expenses effectively and make necessary adjustments promptly, resulting in immediate and long-term budget savings. The easy access to employee census information is another feature I find incredibly valuable, as it supports reporting outside of Payroll and HR, such as for 401K and IRS audit information. Furthermore, the payroll Dashboard is a standout feature because it creates an environment where mistakes are minimal, eliminating the need for processing manual payments. Since transitioning from ADP to Paycom, I've noticed that Paycom offers several advanced features that ADP lacked, such as EDI for benefits and comprehensive processing for 401K, W2s, and 1099s. Overall, I believe these features make Paycom an excellent tool for our payroll and HR needs, and I’ve even recommended it to other organizations who have successfully made the transition.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I frequently require additional instruction and guidance when trying to make changes in the system. Many times, modules are grayed out, and I need assistance to correct or adjust them. The struggle to obtain the necessary information and useful feedback on how to resolve issues can be frustrating. For instance, there is a notification that many employees are missing self-service access, and attempts to get a helpful response from Paycom have been unsuccessful. Additionally, although implementation was relatively easy, the team missed crucial customizations which affected our configuration.

I use Paycom for payroll, HR, and benefits, solving time management and labor allocation issues, with real-time reporting saving us money and detailed reporting aiding compliance and audits.

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom has truly simplified our hiring process by aligning everything from candidate management and offer letters through to internal transfers and offboarding. While our implementation had a few hiccups, the support we’ve received since then has been exceptional.

Our Paycom representative, Erynn Dostaler, has been the real difference-maker. She is efficient, timely, and incredibly knowledgeable. More than that, she consistently advocates for our requested changes and ensures that our needs are met. Her support has made our overall experience with Paycom top-notch, and we are grateful to have her as a partner.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Paycom has significantly streamlined our hiring process by aligning candidate management, offer letters, internal transfers, and even offboarding into one platform. Having everything in one place has been a big improvement for our team.

That said, our implementation did come with some challenges. Certain workflows weren’t as intuitive at the start, and clearer communication during the setup process could have made the transition smoother. With some additional upfront training and guidance, I believe new clients could get even more out of the system right away.

What has truly elevated our experience is the outstanding support from our Paycom representative, Erynn Dostaler. She is efficient, timely, and knowledgeable, and she consistently advocates for the changes and adjustments we need. Her dedication has turned what could have been a rocky start into an overall very positive and successful partnership.

Candidate management and the overall ease of the hiring process have been tremendously helpful. We’ve also partnered closely with our Payroll and Finance teams to further streamline and align processes that were previously managed through separate systems.
